Exactly. Although it would be interesting to see what percentage of buyers came from ICE, Hybrid, PHEV, and BEV. If this forum is any indication, a higher percentage of people than I'd hoped are coming from a BEV or PHEV (I know a fan site like this would skew more heavily that direction in general). Hopefully as more ICE drivers see the Mach E on the roads, the more will make the switch to fully electric.
I think there are a surprising number of first time BEVs coming to the Mach-E, actually -- I, myself, am one of those. My last car was a Mustang GT.

This is actually where Ford will have an advantage over Tesla, because sure the car buying process sucks and is scammy, but people are used to it. A lot of people aren't even going to know how to get into the Tesla process, but they know if they drive by their local dealer and see that new car they're stopping in and looking
Exactly. I can't believe that people will buy a Tesla, even if they live hundreds of miles from a Tesla servicing dealer. Or do they?

Tesla's current service dealers map below. Amazing.

Switch that map over to Superchargers and you'll see why people buy Teslas.
Must not be so good anymore. Kyle mache, Alex, mache. ben, a lot of tesla hate coming from him and he said he rather have the mache.

The Fast charging network lead is not what it use to be.

I am one of the cars sold in Feb but no one asked me which car I was coming from - how did they arrive at 70% were competitive brands. But good numbers

Granted there are some gaps in the non-Tesla charging network and other hiccups, but I think the Supercharger network is overhyped.

These are maps of the area of primary concern for me for a lot of my road trip options. Guess which one is Tesla and which one isn't.

I just traded my Model 3 for a Mach E, but don't get me wrong, the Supercharger network is awesome and the rest of the industry needs to be putting as much money into fast charging networks as they do into building their EV platforms

Superchargers are much cheaper to build than Dealerships. :)

Superchargers do not repair broken down vehicles. :)

Also worth nothing that the amount produced was down ~10% from Jan but Feb also has ~10% less days than January...
These are SALES numbers, not PRODUCTION numbers.

I can't understand thinking of Superchargers as overhyped. 120kW minimum on any road trip route, with Plug&Charge that doesn't require the joy of a root canal to start, and near 100% reliability.

The only CCS option that competes is EA, as they are the only one we have Plug&Charge with and guaranteed 120kW+ speeds. Turning on any network but EA is a disingenuous comparison.

Superchargers sell Teslas, period. There's nothing that comes close.

I've done the comparison with EA as well. It is fine for my needs as well. Turning on the other networks provide a lot more options where Tesla has none. The Supercharger network sells Teslas but that didn't mean that there aren't other solutions that meet people's needs. I do think it is over hyped. And the situation is quickly changing in favor of a standardized network vs a proprietary one. EA alone is bringing online about 300 more locations this year.
