I forgot. It went to 29 May yesterdayThat's a big jump. At least mine only moved 1 week at a time. Recently anyway. My first eta was 13 March, then 17 April, 8 May, 15 May, 22 May, back to 15 May and now 22 May again. I think the shipping team must have a calender on the wall in their tea break room and every morning they go in and throw a dart at it and the day it lands on is the next delivery day update. Must be full of holes by now.
Looks I might have been right when I said, a while ago now, that as FordEUR seemed to be controlling the QC checks that they would concentrate on the mainland europe cars first and leave ours until later. This is probably why most of ours have had their delivery pushed back (AGAIN) to the end of May/beginning JuneDutch delivery confirmed to one lucky owner must be first in Europe ?![]()
GRANDE BENELUX og HEROIC LEADER is now at MME Port , Ford in Norway are getting info tonight about extra transport ... - Boat list NOR + EUR er updatedI forgot. It went to 29 May yesterday

I'm not sure as Vista today says mine is compound out on the QC checks. I would expect the order to be by ship. My dealer had 2 cars on the GH and when I spoke to him yesterday both had been pushed back to 29th. He has 6 in Antwerp and all are now saying 29thI'm not sure as Vista today says mine is compound out on the QC checks. I would expect the order to be by ship. Starting with the G houston.
Hi @SteveUkChecked Asta la Vista baby and my ETA has gone from 8/5 to 22/5.
Test drove car with a sick bag. No vomit to report. Black SR RWD.
Excellent experience.
Even though it's the base model it was very pleasureable and didn't feel base. Expectations of quality still met.Hi @SteveUk
Interesting .... my ETA has gone back to 22/5 as well (like you from 8/5) ?
Also of great interest ..... your test drive of the SR RWD!
Outside of the lack of need for the sick bag, were there any other points to highlight? Would be great to hear your insights ?
Cheers,
David
Glad you liked it. My dealer has said that one of the cars that they will have is RWD ER for their test drives in 2 weeks time and have said that they have booked me in to drive that one. If it's black then that is exactly mine so I might "borrow" it and perhaps hold it to ransom.Even though it's the base model it was very pleasureable and didn't feel base. Expectations of quality still met.
To me the issue is range, in this one it showed 98% left and around 230miles.
We didn't at any point miss the sunroof.
I did take a sick bag as my partner has been suffering from vertigo and after the reports of the car being bouncy I thought this would be an interesting test drive! none of us felt any of the wobble issues that some people report. Felt a very smooth drive. The black is lovely.
No bouncy wobble felt at all.
I have never driven an auto before and my partner last drove one decades ago!
I was very reluctant to drive but after she did I had my turn with one peddle turned on.
It was amazing. A fab drive. I took to auto and on peddle in minutes. Very easy to learn.
Worth £37k but i'm not sure about the new £40k price with no sunroof. I think at £40k ish you'd expect a sunroof as a basic item for all cars.
The AWD red ER was in the showroom and I immediately notice the ambient lights which is a nice touch.
It didn't feel any bigger than the Kuga. Certainly very manageable for us to drive.
The delivery date is just a laugh though. You can't plan anything as it's so up in the air.
