I suggest we all keep an eye on :-

1. https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicle/pti.do?vin=WFrestofvin

to see if anything changes here - as a clue to QC happening.. I check every day and still nowt! for me it still says my firmware or whatever it is, is dec 2020.

2. and also check weekly with dealers to see if ETA changes.

other than that we have no clues / info on where we are at.

Usually ETAs change in a whole batch - that's got to be a clue if things are improving (when they are brought forward) and when a new issue has been found (dates go back further).

The concierge system is now ruled out from what I have seen.
I keep checking stuff for both you and @portlandg

I do find it weird that while the three of us were all in the same build batch there are differences in the data. Both you and he are both still showing ETIS PTI Last scanned dates of 08-12-2020, while mine is showing 14-04-2021. The only similarity between you guys is that you both have black cars and mine is a red one. Maybe they're doing them in colour order. ?

Well thank you. I keep checking mine too. Perhaps they are doing them at night and can't see mine because it's dark and the car is black. I don't know why it is. I've given up thinking about it.

If there are any positives from our delays, it means that when we finally do get our cars, the charging infrastructure will be in a better place. Looks like a great set of chargers on a key part of the motorway network opened up today: https://www.gridserve.com/2021/04/3...ks-largest-high-power-motorway-charging-site/

I think we should still do our meet-up in Braintree, unless this works as a more central location for everyone!
This service station is on my commute and 5-10 minutes from my work (insert smug face)

It's so sad reading all the negative comments on here and seeing people change their minds and cancel orders. I too have been waivering of late. My dealer isn't great and only replies with the bare minimum of information when chased. They've only just announced that they have a car for test drives but can I get them to acknowledge my request? Hell no. I'm number one on their order list, having pre-ordered back in January 2020, but I'm not feeling like a number one customer at the moment.

The last thing I was told by the dealer (on 6th April) was that the car would be with them around 5th June. Hannah then a week or so later told me that "it isn’t due to leave until May". What does that even mean?

The problem I have is that I just cannot find another EV that I like and which ticks numerous boxes. But now I'm wondering whether sitting here patiently waiting for a car that, when I first saw it, I said "that's the one", is just going to leave me disappointed with numerous trips back and forth to the dealer to get issues resolved.

I feel everyone's disappointment and frustration. A friend of mine is a General Manager within Ford. Not even calls or texts into him reveals anymore info - they are just not receiving it from Ford - and even he is now considering cancelling his order.

What could have been a great entrance into the UK EV market is fast becoming a damp squib. Ford really have screwed this up.

I'm now hoping that a test drive (if I ever get one) will calm my nerves and reignite my interest in this car...

I have had a couple of friends use these type of sites and when it comes to them inspecting your car they will knock off a bit for every imperfection so you end up with not as good as a deal as you thought.
We buy any car did that for every chip or tiny scratch on my focus.

I spent more than enough time in the service side of main dealers so I know how it works!
My car is low mileage and immaculate, main dealer service history etc. I know they'll be picky-it's their job and they can knock a few bob off- But they'll have to work hard to get it down to what the Ford dealer offered me, like £4k hard ?

I am with you on this. When I first saw the pictures of the MME I thought it was the one for me too. I saw it in the flesh March 2020 and my decision was confirmed. I think there are a few of us who are sticking with the MME because we don't like any of the alternatives, whether it be the exterior, the interior or the brand. There are some interesting BEV's about, but for the money I still think the MME is the best value.

At least you can still bring your details up. Mine says Ford can't recognise your details. Are you sure you have the right VIN and order number. Of course I have. It is etched on my brain. I'm destined never to get this car. It seems to keep getting lost in the system.

I’m with you there! My part ex valuation is £5K less than Webuyanycar. I was all set to accept the part ex until Ford refused to extend the valuation date which expired in March! Their incompetence has certainly worked in my favour in this case!

If it's of any interest: shipping from Veracruz took 3 weeks for mine. 2-4 weeks of QA in Antwerpen. Currently waiting for the next ship to Norway(in about a week). Then about 2 weeks until registration(tho our in-port in Drammen is quite congested atm so its probably different for you guys).

I had the same problem earlier this week but i've just tried it now and it does the lookup. The data reported has not changed.

Just to go back to part ex valuations, my car was arbitrarily valued on line. No-one has actually seen it. I had a whinge to the group sales director (Vospers in case anyone has had any dealings with them?) and attached e-mails from WBAC with their valuation. He got straight back to me and when I have my road test on the 11th he'll be there and will see if he can match the valuation. Not holding my breath though!

If he waffles on blah blah blah and doesn't do a price match I'll just cancel the order, and if we still want to go ahead we'll re-order but without a part ex! I only ordered it 2 weeks ago so an extra 2 weeks at the other end is neither here nor there ;) ?
