Bro, you’re the one coming in with the Accord comparison (which I correctly predicted someone would, congrats) stating after 60mph, then 65-70mph, it would pull away from OP’s PE. But, his PE gets to 100mph a full 1.5 seconds faster than a typical 2.0T. That’s a damn light year in drag racing or roll-ons in Mexico or wherever. 100mph is sad, I’ve stated it many times here. But your 2.0T hyperbole is just that, hyperbole. My car runs a 12.2-12.4 1/4 mile @ 114-117mph depending on DA and the OP’s PE is .1-.2 quicker than me in the 1/8th mile. And, it’s only .3-.4 slower in the 1/4 mile, even falling on its face. Think about that. Once the issue gets solved it’ll be trapping 110+ with ease and all the hand-wringing can cease.I don't care where it is in the 1/8th mile the only person talking about the 1/8th mile is you. I think you need to read this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man
So the Honda pulls on it past 80 or 85 mph instead of 60 or 70 mph? That's the hill you're gonna die on?
I think maybe you're missing the plot here, the point is that the 100 mph trap is pathetic and a 480 horse 70k dollar Performance Edition Mustang get pulled on by 4 cylinder family sedan ANYWHERE short of the EVs top speed is embarrassing.
