Thread for people who haven't gotten their Mach-E's yet to be grumpy in

I talked to my dealer and he says that he has 11 Mach-e's sitting waiting for chips. I mentioned that it sounds like Ford is waiting for a big shipment (the 6-week letter) that will open the flood gates and he agreed. He thinks the chips are due in the next few weeks. That makes me hopeful that my 10/11 build will happen and chips will be available to complete the car.

This would also be consistent with a lot of manufactures shutting down production for two weeks after the Labor Day weekend. When they come back they might be hoping that chips will be available.

My local dealer just got a premium battery and had a 10k mark up 3 people for fighting over it and running numbers. They can't keep them on the lot with 10k markup it's crazy. They just got a new raptor and had it marked up 25k and sold before it hit the lot.

I guess my comment on the tax credit doesn't cover these premiums!!! Wow! My dealer tried to get me for $5k and I walked.

My friend booked a Tesla Y in California a month after me. They changed the dates 4 times already and currently it says Oct end.

Seems they are no better than us.

Same. My car is slowly trying to give out and I got an email from gal saying they can deliver a model 3 standard in a few weeks

Tesla in Illinois tells us they can deliver Model Y in February 2022 and that's an estimate. I still prefer the MME.
