Can we please get the OTA update now for our cars?

Careful what you wish for. Most software updates for every product under the sun come with "undocumented features" (an old developer's euphemism for "bugs"). It's amusing with a phone app, but not so much with a car.

It seems to be a problem with my VPN. Not sure why I can turn SecuriAlert on and off over VPN but cannot access the scheduler.

I have it off for awhile now, run a vpn and see no problem. It saved a schdule, it bugged me and I shut it off. Part of the fluff not required. Works for me like all the other not required stuff. Kinda. Thinking it may be the no response and not your vpn.

3.31 automatically installed/updated. First time in 6 months. I had the "telematics control unit module" replaced about 36 hours ago.
I still have no powerups. I have spent hours on the telephone with numerous Ford people with no success. The last person I was directed to as the department/person able to correct the flaw did not even know what a powerup was.
They keep telling me to go to a dealership. I have done that numerous times (FSA, module "replacement", etc.) with no success.
Any suggestions for powerup installs? I have none thus far (no 1.3, 1.4, 1.6 in any order or configuration). I would simply like to be current before 1.7.
Are my expectations unreasonable?

Your dealer can do it. It was in there and it was not? Maybe it was and hence not updating for you? Know all the latest and greatest was installed on mine when brought in.

It is extremely odd, I have a schedule set, which runs fine but I cannot see it, edit it, it make new schedules if I am on my VPN. Once I turn the vpn off, it works.

Must be a confluence of issues that causes it to sometimes work in some certain conditions.

I believe 1.3.0 was only in Europe. As far as the other ones, I think it depends on the dealer technician, but if you let them know you've been having issues with updates, they could do some updates there. Of course they won't show up as any power up. Power up is just the marketing term for the OTA updates and the numbers do not directly correlate to the software versions updated in various modules.

Now you mention you had the tcu replaced 36 hours ago, I assume they gave you the latest version on the tcu software so that basically covers what I know about update 1.6.0 updating, maybe even 1.4.0... you likely have newer version of tcu software then most of us.

Not thinking I will drop my VPN for SecuriAlert but that would be a test. I have never got a journey log in 8 months. Charging logs just recently. Paak and soc/charging info (difficult to get to refresh and a bit dysfunctional here) is about all I need. Sleeping a lot for 100 KWh. It sleeps when it charges. Not the app because I hear the mme snoring. ?

Were you able to activate Plug and Charge for your car? I had an issue where I couldn't activate Plug and Charge and it turned out that my car wasn't provisioned correctly at the factory and they had to make a special update unique to my car to fix it at a dealership. They also mentioned that this issue would block OTA's. So they fixed it and I then could activate Plug and Charge and also started getting the OTA 1.4 and 1.6.

Since day 1 with the car, I've never been able to get it to record a journey. I've always had my phone plugged in, connected to AppLink, turned off CarPlay, tried it with CarPlay turned on, etc. Never once has it ever recorded a journey for me But I am super looking forward to the trunk button being operational, it's where I put my groceries lol
