Yes, in some of their early press materials. I don't see it on their site anymore, so they obviously realized that was a false claim at this point.

Maybe it opens and there is space for a bottle or two and what they actually meant was that it was a car bar (available only from the 3rd menu level of the touchscreen and only when stationary) with sound to create the right mood.

Rumor has it that Ford will express its appreciation to buyers by doing the following:
1. Premium buyers: the sound bar will be pre-stocked with a bottle of premium scotch
2. First Edition buyers: the sound bar will be pre-stocked with a bottle of Beaujolais nouveau
3. Select buyers: select your own (sorry no B&O bar in the Select)
4. GT buyers: no alcohol needed for a rush--just push the button on the right on the floor

In the Early announcement stages (well before the dealer guide came out), it was announced as a soundbar in the dash.

I'm assuming you have the base model 3? The high end model 3 sound system is one of the best factory setups in a car
