what is your problem? it looks like people are having a lot of fun here
Thanks to this thread, you've been able to conclude that the point of trunk liners is to help with carrying messy cargo (mulch) or pets.

This entire discussion is like someone from Arizona somehow being unable to fathom why car owners living in Canada might put winter tires or snow chains on their car.

Actually it is just about certain kind of mess like wet, oily, sticky, soggy, dusty or powdery shit, for everything else the carpet trunk floor works just fine. As for pets I've never event though about that before because I am a cat person.....
I just made sure I didn't miss any other factors.......

Chains. Made from SNOW? I can't begin to fathom how those even stay together without melting. You are right about those Arizonans, sir.

Here's a challenge, name a mess that doesn't have one of those properties.

Clue: This mess of a thread doesn't count.

That is true...... But I wouldn't use mach e for this type of shopping at all. it is a little too small and not tough enough for this job. I have a "workhorse" car for that.
Not all of us have a car for commuting to work and another for milk shopping.
