Must have had the PAAK team doing their stout quality control on that one too! ?
Let's just hope the assembly instructions are written better. God help the poor soul trying to get the MME to hover or the tires to align in such a ...non traditional... way

I did some more searching and CONVOY appears to mean it is on a truck. Perhaps it took a rail to KC and got loaded on a truck without Jack Cooper Trucking moving it around??? I am trusting that the Bandit is making a high speed run to NC with my GT!
Wouldn’t that be the Snowman? The Bandit was in a Trans Am. It’d be funny to see a MME loaded onto a Gen2 T/A. ??

No, I ain’t gonna try it. ??

Was talking to someone at work who was trying to get new tires for their car (not an MME) and their mechanic said there'd be a massive wait because supply chain issues. So now I'm wondering if I'm not actually on a chip hold but instead my car is sitting up on cinderblocks in Mexico :( my poor baby
I had brought this up in a previous post as well. Cause my builder for my Scout said the same thing regarding tires for some of the other trucks he’s working on.

also, all the winter tires for the Mach e at discounttire are on back order. :(

Damn. It seems more and more plausible. Even my modules are seemingly online (granted I can't really parse what all those numbers and letters actually mean, but there sure is a lot of info when I run it through that site. Suggests at least a good chunk of modules are good.)

I wonder if they were literally building these cars with the same pair of tires and just swapping them after they moved the car offsite.

Nick,

I would give Tirerack.com a call. Thier website is going to look at the Colorado warehouse, but they have others all over the country. I got the Vredesteins from them and they sourced them in Indiana. If you are looking to have them mounted here in Colorado, we have had good luck selecting SJ Tire from within the Tirerack system.

Im thinking about using tire rack. But I’ve been buying tires from discount for almost 20yrs.
They have always take. Care of me and my wife no matter what state we are in.

But with the whole trouble of trying to find anything is super annoying.

Week of July 18th build. Chip Hold.
Completed September 20th. ”Shipped“ the 21st. ETA 10/31 to 11/6.
Actually shipped Oct. 26th. VVR shows on ”Convoy”.
Current whereabouts unknown.
ouch, that is not what I wanted to hear about the shipment schedule. Mine says it was shipped on 10/5, but that clearly didn't happen since it's not in KC yet. GRUMPY.

Reserved Dec. 1, 2020. Order entered Aug. 11, 2021. VIN # assigned Sept. 29, status "in order processing". As of today Nov. 12, no production date. Only 28 days left to make 2021s...
Will mine get made? What happens if they miscalculated and can't finish making them before the 2022 line opens on Dec. 13 ? Grumpy...
Doesnt matter if it gets made. It will remain in limbo after shipment with no updates and never to be heard from again like mine that shipped on 10/1 and is no where to be found.

Day 51 since the car "shipped" and it looks like at least another 7 days of waiting. No way to tell whether the car is still in KC, enroute to Denver or sitting in Denver. Straightline distance from my house to the Ford plant in Mexico City is 1427 miles, so the car has averaged 27.98 miles/day, or just over 1 mph for shipping. Passes the sniff test to say "I could have walked faster".

Huh, still wondering where my car is. Another forum user let me know that my car was delivered to a dealer on Tuesday night. My window sticker was updated on Wednesday. My dealer doesn't have my car. I wonder if my car was delivered to the wrong dealer. I'll be super-grumpy of my car went to another dealer and they sold it. ??

How were they able to figure out it was delivered? Are they able to see where it was delivered to? Have you checked this site to see if you can see where it was delivered to (assuming this company was used for your delivery. Not sure if they do the west coast stuff)
