Would you consider a lottery more fair than honoring a person's original reservation date?

Was anyone able to confirm that these first editions will be part of the first run? The person I spoke to on the phone wasn't sure and I don't want to upgrade from my premium reservation if it's going to take longer

Yes, at least for the US, all of the FE are going to be first (worse case, at same time as premium) (possibly dealer demo units before, don't think it's been official if they will be made before or after FE). If they were making a different batch of FE later too, then they wouldn't have auto converted my FE reservation to a premium when I didn't confirm the order...

$1200-$1600 more for the FE, depending on paint (assuming same config of AWD, extended range).

Technically, it is $6600 but that includes the 99U extended range battery which is a $5000 cost option on it's own.

If you want to compare a Premium Extended Range AWD to the First Edition then the price difference is $1600 provided the color selection is the same.

$1600 more when really comparing apples to apples.

The FE is a base Premium ($50,000) with AWD ($2700) and ER battery ($5000), then adding on the FE appearance package ($1600).

Sweet, I'm order ID 10058259 for my premium so i'm guessing from everything I've read the FE should definitely bump me up a few months in the timeline (plus that Grabber Blue <3)

I called the number, they took my info, and said my dealer would call Saturday or today. I checked with them on Saturday and they didn't have a clue. Hoping to hear something this morning so I just sent an email to my dealer.

The Director of the Mach Drop program just emailed and called me personally and offered me a guaranteed FE for all the frustrations (I chewed them out on Twitter and they escalated it).

Let's just say I'm now the proud owner of a Grabber Blue First Edition Mach-E.

I called my dealer a few times and he has not heard anything from Ford - he is actually amused by this - he is like - you know more about the process that we at the dealership know, so just keep me posted and if we get the info we will call you.
