......
it’s unfortunately academic for me, however, since I live in DC and DC residents are not able to participate in the program at all.
Thank you for the clarity. I'm sorry that your astute analysis couldn't be applied personally.

...... Let me know if there is anything else I can help with as I just went through all this paperwork Friday.
Good info, thanks.
What did you, and other recent California purchasers, pay for licensing, document and other fees? I pay 7.25% sales tax. I didn't know that SoCal paid so much more.

I am 1-2 weeks out from purchase at Crown Motors in Redding CA.. I am not clear of X Plan criteria. I don't work for a Ford partner. I do occasionally work with the GM's wife. Is it worth finding a back door or I am I too late in the game? I read other threads about this but need the skinny on the current X plan situation. I will be contacting my General Manager tomorrow to ask about the dealership's familiarity with Options and whether I qualify for X Plan. I don't want to seem even more stupid.

Does your employer participate in Xplan? Or maybe own F shares? I think it's too late to join anything. No use in asking if they participate in Xplan If you don't qualify for it.

for x-plan they will ask for a valid PIN and proof that you are currently employed (like last paystub / company badge). x-plan saved me about 842 bucks off of my Premium AWD Extended battery trim (56,400 MSRP). here was my cost breakdown:

$55,557.44:(after x-plan)
$85: doc charge
$4868.78: sales tax (8.75% in walnut creek)
$30:e-vehicle reg
$361: vehicle licensing fees
$269: registration/transfer/title fees
$7: CA tire fee

NOTE: under manufacturer's rebate it shows $3250 which includes $2500 ford options incentive and 750 clean fuel award for CA.

Lastly - i ended up buying a 4 year maintenance plan or $1,190. I never ever ever buy these. but given that my dealer is one of a handful in the bay area not charging ADM on any of the cars they are selling (integrity to me given how bad supply is right now), I was ok with this charge. If I sell the car before 4 years, I can get a partial refund back for the amount I don't use. Hope this helps

My railcar status is either “PCO import” or “PCO and port” in Wilmington, DE. Hard to understand for sure. Not sure what exactly that means, but my rail journey should be almost over.

Interesting. My railcar TTGX965471 left KC before yours and arrived Ft. Wayne around 10pm Saturday. Then at 5:40 pm yesterday it checked in with an "Intermediate Arrival" at Elkhart IN, which is 70 miles pretty nearly the opposite direction of New Castle from Ft. Wayne. Wonder if NS is assembling a train there to make a direct shot to New Castle? Let's see if our cars start moving together. Hopefully soon!

After sitting in KC for a while (I think I was on Targagone's train from MX), I got a status change this morning that and it's heading east to New Castle on TTGX965471. Last location Missouri City, MO, around 3:30 am. Does anybody happen to know how long I can expect it to take to get to Delaware?
2 weeks, where your MME will then sit in Delaware for a few weeks before getting picked up.

Went through that myself recently and calling NS every couple of hours was not good for my mental health!

Transit time from Voltz Yard near Kansas City to Port Wilmington Yard (which technically is in New Castle, which is separated from the City of Wilmington by the railway tracks at that location) can be as short as 4.5 days - the train departing on 11/22 around 7AM arrived on 11/27 around 4PM, but that was likely an outlier by far. The train carrying my car left at noon on 11/24 and arrived Edgemoor Yard, just three miles north of Wilmington Yard in the afternoon of 12/3, but did not pull into Port Wilmington Yard until the morning of 12/6. My car was unloaded that afternoon and delivered to my dealer 36 hours later, the only saving grace after the myriads of delays I had experienced. Your wait for the truck delivery to your dealer will likely be much longer.

As close as it may seem to be, still looks like I'm going to need a fair bit of good luck to take delivery in 21.

My MME was supposedly loaded on rail car TTGX702355. When I try to track at NS I am told that they have no info on that car. Do you know any other way to get info on my railcar other than the VVR?

I'm sorry I don't. I think OVISS must pull from the same info as the dealers' VVR because I see that same rail car associated with your vehicle.

Westward Bay Area Rail up date.
The car hasn't logged a location in Wyoming yet. The ETA at 'industry' slipped 2 days further out to 12/19.

Thanks for that map. Elkhart is another "Auto Distribution Facility," which may explain why my train went there and why the cars seem to be hanging out for a while.
