Did he confirm whether or not the updates in 21P22 increase the usable battery capacity?
Well you're right, that part is not clear. I assume that's not part of it and he talks about a future update.

how often do you guys open your Frunk??
I haven't been in there in months but finally needed to use it over the weekend. Have been shopping for door prizes for the holiday luncheon for my staff. The throw pillows are for me......not giving those away. :)

I would have bought something else if I had known that OTA was "hard" and Ford couldn't figure it out. It was a big selling point for me. I'm not looking for overly cautious at this point. I completely understand that some do.
Interesting perspective. I did not even consider a Tesla because they own you through the software. I felt very uneasy buying a vehicle that they have complete control of.

I bought the Mach-E in spite of the OTA feature. Primarily because I believed I could modify my own calibrations later (like I have done with other Ford vehicles). And I mistakenly assumed they would not attempt to modify critical systems via OTA. I thought the improvements would be for user control stuff and other non essential features.

I know of 3 other Mach-E owners that appear to give very little thought to the OTA ability. It is possible the group of owners on this forum are not representative of the Mach-E owners at large. Many of them might be quite happy with the OTA process so far and feel like Ford is doing a great job with it. I asked my brother and he is super pleased. He has received a couple messages on his phone that updates are successful and he is very satisfied. He even talks to other family members how great the car is.

Many users here appear to be much much more concerned about the OTAs compared to the average driver. I think I have seen posts where people here have actually taken their car to the dealer to have updates performed even though their car is working perfectly or the updates don't apply to their VIN. Seems strange to me...

He will provide a blood signed copy with DNA and paternity tests with a copy of his birth certificate tonight…
Long form or short form for the birth certificate?

Any chance OP or Admin can update the first post?

Except it’s consistent with everything Darren has said publicly this year. Also a weird thing to take the time to photoshop.

There are way weirder and stupider things that people have photoshopped and subsequently posted as being true on the Internet…

Don't care about the additional 3 kwh. It would be great if I had it, but I am not going to let my BP rise over it. I charge at home over night. The lowest my car has gotten in 6,000 miles is about 20% charge. I guess if you like playing chicken or do not have the ability to charge at home or drive over 200 miles a day, then it may matter. I venture to guess that the people who fall into that category are about 10% of MME owners if that.

The pics are good enough for me. But it sure would be nice if Ford would make a few more official statements about stuff like this. Like @Ford Motor Company has a presence here but it is almost totally worthless when it comes to providing any information. It’s just an extension of frontline customer support.

I have all kinds of questions I feel like Ford owes us an answer on (yeah I know, this makes me “entitled”).

Is BlueCruise’s lane centering actually more accurate than ACC/LC due to the “highway mapping,” or is that just to make a geofence within which BC can be used?

What is it, even generally, that is causing Ford so much difficulty issuing substantive OTA updates?

Is Ford aware of the SYNC bug that doesn’t allow the alarm interior motion sensor to be permanently toggled off? Is it working on a fix?

I don’t think I’m asking anything here thats out of line. Inquiring minds want to know. Crickets from Ford. So we get the rumor mill.

Continues to amaze me at how many people lose their shit and waste their time discussing internets bullshit.

I believe I got 3kWh with the recent courtesy update. If I didn't, I believe Ford will do what Darren Palmer said.
