Does anyone know if you get the "Complete your purchase" email from Ford that the vehicle is confirmed as delivered to the dealership? I continue tracking my railcar with Norfolk Southern Transport and it had my flat car going from Wilmington, DE at the beginning of the week to some town in PA yesterday, to another town in PA today, yet I got my "Complete your purchase" email Wednesday. It's supposed to ship to near Freehold, NJ...
My email was sent 10pm and the dealer told me the car was delivered 7 hrs earlier so 3pm. So I would call your dealer asap.

My email was sent 10pm and the dealer told me the car was delivered 7 hrs earlier so 3pm. So I would call your dealer asap.
Thanks, dealership closed, but I drove past and saw a car with my build/color on the lot with transit stickers/paper still on it… and says delivered on the Ford site. I’d be making my purchase on Monday it it were not for the seat belt recall… at least it made it.

Unfortunately, mine remains ‘on hold - Ford Motor Company.’

Maybe it was about to ship before the recall hit?
At the time it was still on board the rail car, only a week after arriving In KC, the tracker showed that the ‘hold’ was applied on 11/8. It arrived 20 days later, and to this day 27 days after arrival, the hold stubbornly remains.

Note that United Road’s current ‘new’ software doesn’t provide the history function, but I viewed it beforehand, which is how I know exactly when the hold was applied.

Almost… 5 weeks tomorrow. Spoke with my dealer rep yesterday after he had a conversation with his zone rep and Ford east coast director. My MME and another are on a stop ship for an unknown reason. Both higher-ups can’t tell us why because even they don’t know. One GT did make it to the dealership, and this GT arrived at AutoPort early December. It’s rather frustrating how many Ford representatives are in the dark.

I’ll be walking in on Monday requesting to purchase the vehicle so I can get the tax credit. I’ve been informed my dealership has done this in the past and am hoping they’ll be onboard since they’ve changed their mind about accepting X-plan.
My dealership said they would do a bill of sale also, but I would have to pay cash and surrender my trade-in.. Not sure I can do that since my car is still sitting on a rail car in KC since 11/5 with no ship date in sight. Super disappointed.

@connoisseurr if you haven’t already, try this recall VIN check link, which I believe is intended for European VINs, but it correctly reported mine as a U.S. model, and verified the seat belt recall. Note that the regular Ford recall VIN checker does not flag my VIN for the recall…

@connoisseurr if you haven’t already, try this recall VIN check link, which I believe is intended for European VINs, but it correctly reported mine as a U.S. model, and verified the seat belt recall. Note that the regular Ford recall VIN checker does not flag my VIN for the recall…
That European tool doesn’t identify any campaigns on my VIN, even though my build date was 10/14…

Such a bummer. (great it is there, sure sounds like it) -- The speed of recalls is unbelievable and such a common commodity considering how many seatbelts Ford has put in -- the last 50 years.

Ford has huge incentive to get it fixed given the hold. I heard some alternative fix with a heliocoil? Vs the parts ordered on 1/3 and not available?? Until March... this cannot be.

Such a bummer. (great it is there, sure sounds like it) -- The speed of recalls is unbelievable and such a common commodity considering how many seatbelts Ford has put in -- the last 50 years.

I think it was a post in another thread. The poster got this information from their dealer.
This is where I read it. So order on 1/3 and parts/kit received by March.. I would expect it sooner.

It was me. I found a Christmas miracle of my build available at a local dealer (with minor mark up), while my order is still in Mexico “produced” since 11/19.

as we were waiting I told the gm of my tale and he told us of the current situation with chips and recalls. Recalled VINs not in dealer or customer hands also won’t be in the recall db.

A more recent poster mentioned a fix via readily available HelioCoils. Let’s hope it’s true!
