The snow finally melted off enough for me to get my MME cleaned up and snap some pictures! Premium standard range AWD.
Went down from the stock 19” rims to 8” wide 18” rims and 245/55-R18 Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 all season tires. Rims and tires are both from Discount Tire. They did a great job on these (as they have on previous cars).
I wanted better cornering in the abundant roundabouts near my house but also a smoother ride for my passengers. I also didn’t want to have to hit the railroad crossings by my house at 3 mph like I had to in my Tesla model 3. I succeeded on both fronts. Cornering is vastly improved but the larger sidewall and lower pressure let’s me go over the railroad tracks a lot faster.
