The lane keep weakness is a bit bothersome.. I can deal with the rest, but isn't Lane centering performance positive and the lane keep weakness, the same? Well maybe lane centering is the only one I really care about and use.

I like the screen lack of glare and finger prints and the seat comfort lines.

Sounds like the info starts flowing more in about two weeks.
Very excited for this, while I drive about 0 miles per day now, I do expect to be back in the office sometime next year, now in style. Hopefully the communication starts rolling to the consumer from FORD, it's all great that I can get info here but it's not really how I expected my purchase to go. I guess Ford is so excited with the MACH-E internally they forgot about externally. I have yet to see it advertised anywhere or even pushed, heck even the Bronco got more press. Dealers are clueless, little press about it and so little from Ford to me. So hopefully they start talking to me soon, because after all I am the one putting faith into FORD with my hard earned money. That is all I have to say...

Will our Ford accounts show a vin or does our dealer need to obtain this for us?
Since we've heard that Ford is supposed to email us something end of month or so, I'm guessing it is a VIN assigned/scheduled to build notice. Not sure what else would be relevant.

I will say this. this mach e Forum is far and a way more active and has more energy than any other one I have seen by a long shot. Maybe the bronco one is hot too, or I would assume. This tells me there is plenty of excitment for the model for this stage of production. Whether this lasts remains to be seen after deliveries and reviews.

After September 28th Vins will start being entered into the system. That is the start. Waterfall for MP2
I keep hitting refresh for @trutolife27 responses . . . but . . . are the FE builds BEFORE the Premium builds, like yours, or are we after mid-November because you guys are Ford employees? Because if we are after mid-November, that means 2021 for the rest of us.

Four of the 5 'Weaknesses' fixable via OTA software updates. That's reassuring.
Yep, although ironically the one that really stuck out and meant the most to me was the one that isn't -- Vehicle Egress. Very curious to hear their comments on that one. Hoping it doesn't mean that the seats are too low.

I agree 100%, I get all my info here and it's the only place I visit / trust. But I am not buying my FE from the forum I am buying it from FORD. I am directing my dissatisfaction at FORD and how they are not keeping me the consumer in the loop. I would have expected and email recently letting me know the final purchase process, rough timing of delivery and so forth.

I think part of it is also that the Mach-E may be the biggest intersection of mainstream ICE buyers and BEVs yet. Meaning, we have a lot of BEV virgins here (so to speak). Including myself. Because there's so many differences and nuances to BEV vs ICE, there's a much bigger demand for information and discussion of those nuances.

But it also helps that the Mach-E is simply a really cool vehicle! ?

Not trying to pat myself on the back here, but you can see from this forum if we are in any way representative that buyers of the ME and BEV's in general, are probably a better educated, more connected, and smarter crowd than someone who shows up at the lot to just buy a car. Hell, some of us have been waiting for almost a YEAR for a car we have only seen as pixels on a screen!

And at least two or three of those are somewhat subjective too. Egress, Sound system, setting up charge times

All in all, I agree, reassuring imo.
Agreed....Egress would probably depend on the size of the individual....sound system will probably seem really easy the first few times you use it, and I plan on using an app or my own level 2 charger app to set up charge times.

Lane centering and keeping are not the same thing. They work in different ways and in different scenarios.
Lane centering is only used with the cruise control and as the name says keeps you in the center of the lane. Lane keeping is always on unless you disable it and nudges you back into the lane if you start to drift out.

I'm also happy that the lane centering is a positive on the Mach-E. On my Explorer the lane centering seems to work OK too, but sometimes feels like it won't handle curves today.
