I wouldn't mind trading something like 20% of the tread life of the tires for a smoother ride. That averages out to something like an extra $60/yr maybe? Worth it if that's roughly what it works out to.This is true but I don't care. I like the smoother ride. We all have our priorities!
I just worry a bit about how safe that really is, especially for a vehicle this heavy. I've only dropped mine to about 37 PSI around town (I bump them up to 40 for road trips). I wanted to go further but some of the stuff I read raises caution flags for dropping more than maybe 10%.
