2021's converted to 2022's - Anything missing?

Interested in hearing from those that ordered a 2021, only to have Ford convert the order to a 2022 back in late September / early October, and have received your vehicle...

Specific question - is your vehicle equipped with all the features, including the kick sensor on the hatch, that you ordered on your 2021?

Uh, they don't make special 2022's for some people, your 2022 will come just like any other 2022 with the options that were available and selected on 2022s.

My Premium order was converted to a 22 from a 21, only thing missing is the kick sensor, acoustic glass is present and the kick sensor wasn't mentioned by the dealership. The button on the liftgate that lets you set the height still even has the picture of the kick to open.

Yeah, that's what I figured (kick sensor missing). I was hoping my Premium was being held for the kick sensor, but clearly not. Love how yours got finished and mine didn't

Ya, such a bummer. Seems like they had leftover glass for the first 2022’s produced but are completely out of kick sensors.

Nope I stand corrected. Front windows are not laminated, they are tempered. I missed that as I as looking.

But I can say that after having test driven multiple 2021 premiums, there's almost no difference in sound dampening

Other people that got the first 2022’s reported on the forum shared a photo of their glass and it said laminated. @ponydsp and another gent

Don't know if others who have recently picked up may get lucky but I picked mine up on Saturday and the front windows definitely say tempered

Ahh okay. Dang, bummer! Ya, those gents that got the first reported ones shared photos of the front windows that said laminated. But I don’t recall if the windshield said soundscreen on the bottom passenger side. Does yours? Hopefully the windshield still is at least.
