My email arrived a few minutes ago a link to go check out the changes to your reservation. In my case instead of the infinite blue premium AWD ER vehicle that's been there for ages ...

"No reservation found"

Yes, unfortunately Ford fixed mine too. Glad to have a $1,000 price drop and will try not to grumble about the Premiums getting a $3,000 drop.

I assume yours is now $59,800 @jhalkias? No free Red?

Nope. No Free Red. And actually $60,040 as I have the protection package (no, not free).

I am actually SHOCKED that I got the email too. When I click on the link, it takes me to the Ford owner login, where I can see . . .

MY CANCELLED PREMIUM ORDER!

You sure know how to rub it in Ford.

I'm starting tag Ford people on Twitter and other social media about the price cut difference fro Premium vs FE. Maybe someone made a mistake or maybe it is intentional. Either way, I'd like to know.
Maybe there was too much interest in the "extra" FE? This side of the boat is sinking, quick, everyone run to the other side... ?

Thanks for taking the lead. Hopefully they rethink this. Paying that much more for what amounts to an appearance package is somewhat unreasonable. If they don't reverse course and I get my Mach Drop FE over my original Premium reservation, it's not going to make me back out of the decision, I would just be grateful if they did get back to the original delta between the Premium and FE.

There is no mistake. The price of the FE will stay the same because of the demand for it. The volume is lower and demand is high.

There is no mistake. The price of the FE will stay the same because of the demand for it. The volume is lower and demand is high.
Now I have to decide if I want to keep that FE order just because I want Grabber Blue, or fall back to my original Premium Red since I never canceled that.

When are order changes due by?

You can change customer order specs prior to the vehicle being scheduled (mid-October).

When will customer order scheduling begin?

Mid-October When will customer orders arrive at EV Certified Ford Stores?

Deliveries will begin late 2020


Now Ford put it right out there in front. All the info I have been trying to pass along. Ford put it in writing now. Hope everyone is hyped up. And really everyone at Ford would like to thank you for sticking around and purchasing Ford. More good times to come soon.....

No they have not said that - what I meant to say was to offer some the features they would otherwise plan to charge (or offer discount) - although I was never going to pay for any such premium charge features ; the car is good for me as is
Why not offer Hands Free Driving Free on FE's?

anyway I got the e-mail not long ago, and my dealer called me at about 12:30 pm today. I was very careful to sound extremely appreciative of the fact he took the time to call me (even though I told him I knew already), because I really am appreciative. Yes it's his job etc., but dealers have such a low bar to meet I feel like this is a limbo competition sometimes. ?

I also mentioned the web site issue and his answer was basically "yeah they are still figuring this all out" which was actually some refreshing honesty.
