I got one of those, too! I'm going with the plug-in option for the time being.
Same. Not hardwiring yet. I don't drive that much. Gym (5 miles), store (on the way back) and home. Just trying to figure out if imma let hubby drive to work (2-2.5hrs) round trip once a week. Gas gets much higher, imma have to?. Not ready to give up the baby that I've been waiting 7 months for?

I also figured it would allow me to use/test the Ford Mobile Charger.
Pro tip: Don't let the hubs drive it, you'll never see it again!

The electrician is coming Monday to put the outlet in the garage. I’m going to use the mobile charger for now. My daily driving consists of school carpool and errands, I won’t be charging daily.

Just got mine hardwired this week. To get my utility rebate it required it to be hardwired.

So my Taurus decided to throw a temper tantrum. I parked it outside the garage while the electrician installed my charger. My car knows something is up and is about to be replaced. Later in the day I got in to take a ride to the store and it refused to blow cold air. It witnessed the entire installation. It thinks I'm trading it in NOW. I try turning air off and on, AC off and on, car off and on. Finally I pull in the garage and go inside to cool off. Go back out 15 minutes later and try the same off and on. Finally after much coaxing, it finally turns on. Wow! Talk about a hissy fit. In all seriousness, I need my MME to hurry up b4 the Taurus decides to quit working all together ??? by the way Houston is very hot!!!! I've got to travel 4.25 hours to Dallas tomorrow for my daughters baby shower. Yep imma be a grandma. Hope my car cooperates.

Am I the only one going with 120v charging for now? Not much to the daily drive, and NJ apparently has a charger incentive coming soon, so I'm holding off a few months to hopefully get that. My utility will pay for necessary wiring upgrades up to $1500, so I don't want to hold off too long...

I’m living apartment life out here in LA, but planning on hardwiring with ChargePoint when we get back to our home in Colorado Springs at the end of year. So until then will be doing most of my charging at work/ paid charging.
