I was entering a freeway from a ramp and suddenly I got a error. I don't remember specific error "One pedal system fault. Use break to reduce speed or something".
After the error my car won't go over 40mph. I got honked from behind. (They could see I had blinkers on and was driving on corner of road but they had to honk)
I was depressing the accelerator pedal fully just to go at 36-40mph. At the same time scared that car shouldn't accelerate suddenly. Somehow I managed to get off freeway and then I noticed that if I let go of accelerator, the car would speed up. So I was driving like a dumb person with jerks. I just wanted to get to safe spot to turn off my car.
Now the error has gone but I have "service vehicle soon" error on the IPC screen.
What should I do? (Not drive the vehicle in the mean time?)
It seems drivable now with break and accelerator working but the error is still there. Did someone experience this?
I am very unhappy with the car @Ford Motor Company.
This is the second time car is doing this. First time was some HVB battery fault and my driving would be on low end of spectrum of average driver. Over 1 year I drove for 5900 miles.
