Yes, but only if it's hooked up to the car. Which is good, because we wouldn't want somebody with a laptop to be able to walk around a parking lot and open people's cars.

That is a great security control for sure. Was trying to help another member who had their vehicle stolen, track down their 5-digit factory code since their dealership is useless.

There is no one version. There are dozens of modules each with their own software version.

What they are doing (as of around 3:30 yesterday afternoon) was trying to get your APIM "unstuck" and it looks like they'll have to keep trying cause it wasn't working. So maybe that's what they meant...but that's by no means the "last thing that needs to be updated" as you can see by the list below:

That's roughly 4 hours of work right there and that's after they get your APIM (Sync) module sorted.

Also, after doing these there are likely new GWM and/or TCU and possibly more APIM updates show up after they've done what's in this list. (new updates show up after the server figures out that the ones in this list have been done.) Eventually, you'll get there....

I'm stunned that the dealership let you leave without doing all these updates during the PDI.

I would start with the GWM, and then do everything in the attached CSP 21P22, and then the HVAC, and after that start on the cruise control related ones (CCM, CMR, IPMA) and then see if another GWM (gateway) or TCU pops up as a result of getting all that done.

But you're right if you don't have a Sync version showing and your "updates" button is greyed out and can't be selected then you may have to have them do the TSB 22-2150 to get your APIM "unstuck".

Unlike most folks I didn't pick my mme up from the dealership. I ordered mine via my company car benefit scheme via a third-party. A Ford dealership rang me to arrange delivery to my house, but I don't think it was ever actually in the dealership that rang me. Its likely that it got shipped directly to the delivery company instead.

I'm planning on taking the info you've shared to my local dealership to see if they can get me booked in for the updates. They can't say "If there's no OTA updates there is nothing available" then!

I'd start with the GWM first, the CSP 21P22 stuff next, and then the HVAC, and finally the power steering, CCM, and IPMA, in that order. But that's just me.
