X-plan calculation question

Does MSRP include the $2K regional discount or the $2500 Options rebate? For example, when calculating the price of the car under X-plan, is the $2K regional discount subtracted first and the amount then multiplied by 0.98, then add $275? It looks like it was done that way on my purchase sheet, vs deducting $2K after multiplying by 0.98 (not that $40 is a big deal, just curious). How does the $2500 rebate for Ford Options enter into the calculation?

Actually, if the regional discount appears on the window sticker, then it recalculates MSRP on the window sticker. Then X-Plan would be calculated off that new number.

The only things deducted from MSRP for x-plan calculation are protection mats and freight/delivery charge.

No. D&D is not deducted. Options are included in MSRP also.

If you enter your X-Plan credentials on this site https://www.fordpartner.com/partnerweb/login.do and then go to inventory search, locate a car like yours in NJ, PA, DE (or wherever the Premium discount is in effect) you should be able to see what Ford says is the X-Plan price for that vehicle. But I can verify from personal experience that the Options rebate essentially works as a down payment after the X-plan price is calculated.

I don’t know what D&D is referring to but my statement is in agreement to my paperwork on my x-plan Options financing. When Ford provides the x-plan price on their invoice they don’t know you’ll finance using options. $2500 options rebate is a payment.

Look at the pricing matrixes that Ford provides online and do the math yourself.

If your reference to Options mean paint, AWD, or ER battery, they are in MSRP, freight and protection package are not included for calculating x-plan pricing.

(57,150.65 x .98) + 275 = $56,282.64
Seems to match up.

Also, I wonder if the misc 10.65 shown in Invoice but not MSRP may be related to the discrepancy noted above.
