Yep that is it
I read through that pretty carefully and I don't see anything about interest rate being protected...just the price. Unless there's something I'm missing?

Sorry to be so difficult.
The memo is just about the price protection, and yes that is the memo I used with my dealer. As for the interest rate, I just asked for the rate, and my dealer just offered the rates that were available at the order date. No issues with the interest rates. As I said, I got 1.9 percent for three years, I think the 5 year was 2.9 and my order date was Oct 2, 2021.

I think I saw some discussion on the board about some dealers saying it was the price protection or the interest rate, you can't get both, but I didn't have that experience and as far as I know, that isn't true either, just another tactic. So perhaps ask about the rate then hit the dealer with the memo.

Sounds good. My dealer told me 2.99% for 5 years and I ordered November 11, 2021, so it's probably being protected. I don't know what interest rates are these days, but I didn't want to risk missing out on that rate since the Fed will probably be raising interest rates quite a bit for the next few months.

As I reach 27 weeks of waiting for a build date for my Prem AWD ER red Mach e, I see that I am about to entering the + "zone" of Ford's predicted delivery time frame given in Dec 2021, e.g. 28+ weeks. Since I don't have even a build date scheduled yet, it seems like the soonest delivery date might be in middle-late September, or ~39-43 weeks after ordering.

Reading into the "stop sale" memo suggests that no "fix" should be available until 2020 3rd quarter (which begins 1 July 2022.)

I wasn't going to take delivery on this... but after the Mach-E delays I decided to accept my MINI SE. It fits in my downtown office garage too!

What they say about the MINI electric is true... it's a go-kart. I seriously will get myself killed in this (with a grin on my face) the way I drive it on city streets. It's not faster than a MME or Model Y but the low weight makes it a nimble beast.

Congrats and nice move (and color!). I have heard really good things about this car. I'm getting close to bailing on my MME delivery (well, when they are allowed to deliver it). The MME is not the end all be all and there will be future opportunities to own it. Take the car in hand and enjoy.

I'm going to look into this car as well as other EVs. My wife is telling me that I have no pride if I'm willing to wait until late 2022 for a 2021 model year vehicle. I'll agree with her if it ends up being 2023 when we receive our 2021 MME.

I will pass on it but it does look like a fun car. With the rebate It may just cost under $30k.

That’s the lowest trim now but when I ordered my 2023 I was able to select the base trim ($29K) so after taxes/reg minus credit I’m driving a $24K EV. The upper trims have a sunroof and allow more wheel size and interior color choices. I didn’t want any of that.

My build from order to delivery only took 3.5 months and every factory production step was posted on the website. It was an amazing process.

Soon I shall no longer be Grumpy! Blue Note has arrived at my dealer and I hope to have it in my garage in the next day or two. I drove by the dealership last evening and it was in the receiving area still sporting the protective plastic films from transit. It may take a day to prep it for delivery, or even two and then it will be mine! ? ?:D?

Mine was built after they began using the new software etc. I've checked both Ford's ETIS and the NHTSA Recall sites.
Awesome. If you were planning to flip your MME, now would be that very unique time. Some rich Prince might pay a handsome price for one of the few MME's in the world that you could buy brand new and recall-free. I would hang a $150K price tag on it.:)
