The paperwork says it wasn't done but I didn't find that out until I picked up the car the next day. They also couldn't fix my leaky taillight, so I have to bring it back for that. I think I'll try another dealer.Wow, the green check means the module doesn't have any codes, it doesn't mean it's up to date! He has to click on the SW updates tab and keep going until the modules listed in the recall don't show up anymore.
I'd go right back and tell him he didn't do the recall updates. Remind him that lying about performing safety recalls is serious business. Ford has fired technicians and service managers for doing this, and fined dealers heavily for this deceptive practice.
