I don’t think my GTPE has received any software updates since February. Can you please check what is outstanding. I have auto updates on and connected to Wi-Fi. Thanks!

Weeeellll..... you can try that but it would be good to have some issues that would be addressed by some of these updates. If you read back a bit you'll see some examples of things that you may be experiencing that would be corrected by updates you see in your list. And so once they are in there they may just update everything. I'm guessing you haven't gotten any OTA updates yet.

This should keep them busy for awhile, assuming they do all of this...

Thanks Mike - Do you know if most of these the HVJB Recall items or are these on-top of the recall items?
I hate to jinx the car, but I hesitated to bring it to the dealer for the 21P22 update because I didn't know the exact build date and it hasn't given me any significant SW related issues.
Looks like there will be a lot of updates when it goes in for the regular maint.

Could somebody run my vin? I see that I’m flagged for the 22S41 and want to see what other updates are out there if I’m going to bring it in. I’m a bit nervous to update any software as the car has been running perfectly (to my knowledge) for about a year…

Thanks in advance

Going to the dealer tomorrow to (finally) get the windshield/roof recall taken care of, as well as CS21P22. (And I guess I'm not going to get the HVBJB software if I understand the other thread correctly.)

In the meantime, can I ask someone to check on my VIN: 3FMTK3RM6MMA36496. Thank you!

Besides the CSP 21P22 items you *ahem* may be having issues with your drivers seat or mirror profiles not coinciding with the key fob or PAAK device you're using. And maybe your HVAC doesn't seem to remember your settings between vehicle restarts. And I'll bet your iPhone gets really warm when it's charging. I'm sure you've probably experienced some of these annoying little issues at one time or another.

I've attached the tech info for the HVJB related recall 22S41.

*If the tech is paying attention* he/she will do the GWM programming update before doing anything else. The GWM is the network controller that ties everything together. So when that update appears in the list (along with any TCU update if that's present) it should be done before starting on anything else.

The recall programming starts with the PCM, and then there are other chained module updates that will also be updated in sequence automagically. The SOBDMC, the BECM, the ABS, the SOBDM, and the SOBDMB.

Best,

Mike

Thanks for running that for me. Yikes, this situation is moving fast. I think I’m going to hold off on doing any updates for a bit while Ford figures out how to properly address the situation.

Thank you so much! The iPhone for sure gets hot and now that you mention it, every once in a while (but not regularly) the seat doesn't adjust for the different fobs. Can I presume if I bring this up, the SA will know what that means in terms of modules to update?
