I have new GTPE I am scheduled to take delivery of Saturday. Could you check and see if the software is up to date 3FMTK4SX6NMA19628. The car was built in early April and the dealer received it on July 13. I have been out of town and will not return until Saturday. They are also still trying to get the price protection figured out.

thanks

I finally got the car back today. The tech said, he applied more updates. Can you check one more time to see the final remaining updates. Thanks a lot. I did notice after getting car back that the seat heaters now have a automatic button, which was not there before.

Hello MikeG,

Please sir, when you get a chance run me -> 3FMTK1SS0MMA46549

I just got three OTAs (2.8.2, SRV-RC, 2.8.3) in the last 10 days for my Job 2 car and expect the Recall OTA is next but curious what the queue now looks like on FDRS for my Silver. I have an appt at the dealership early next week in case Recall OTA doesn't show up by then. Would be great to know exactly what they will see on FDRS in that case.

Thanks in advance,

Doug

Between the 22S41 recall and CSP 21P22 most of these would get done at Ford's cost. Some like the WACM need a complaint to go with them. Poor iPhone charging as an example.

Or for the driver's seat positions not matching the car's profile using the key fob you have on you at the time, they'd do an update on the DSM. That sort of thing.

Thanks, I did ask the dealer to fix charging issue for my cell phone and thus he implemented the WACM updates

@Mike G

unfortunately my car was built 12/10/21 and there doesn’t qualify for the CSP 21P22 and I don’t know what it fixes.

I did receive an OTA today, 22-PU0601-SRV-RC, which I understand from someone fixes 2.8.2.

i just got home (45 minutes ago) from a 3 hour trip and plugged in to charge tonight and car is asleep already.
sleeps more than me.

22S41 recall completed, CSP 21P22 also done.

Here's what's left:

Thanks for checking on this - I actually got what I think is the GWM update (the mysterious "Priority Update 22-PU0601-SRV-RC") today... hopefully the other ones aren't critical and will (eventually) show up via OTA updates.

Carlos I have some bad news for you.

The tech looked up how to do the recall, the BlueCruise updates and the CSP 21P22.

And then didn't do any of them and gave you the car back.

Here's what he did today. Looked up stuff in the Professional Tech System on how to do all those updates. But did zero programming at all.

3FMTK3R73MMA44405-20-July-22-work.png

And so you still have all these updates available:

3FMTK3R73MMA44405-20-July-22.png
Hi Mike. My dealer insists they did the updates. Even so, I had an appointment for this coming Monday to corroborate it. Could you confirm again that they didn't? Sorry for the mess and thanks in advance. 3FMTK3R73MMA44405

Carlos;

I wish I could be there on Monday. I'd bring the popcorn.

Seriously I'd love to see the look on the service manager's face when you show him this:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others 3FMTK3R73MMA44405-21-July-22_SW

Now, confirm the VIN in the lower left corner is your VIN...and if it is then all those modules in the right side panel under the SW Updates tab are what's available for your car. Including the 22S41 recall related modules (PCM, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, and SOBDMC).

And since your car was built on the 8th of July last year you're also entitled to get CSP 21P22 program updates which would include the ABS, BCM, OBCC, and the RFA.

That would leave you with the CCM, CMR, IPMA, PSCM, WACM, DSM, and HVAC. You can wait for OTAs for those, or if you have an issue with something like the driver's seat settings not matching the key fob profile you're using then they would update the DSM. Things like that.

But since they have already twice (as far as I am aware) lied right to you about doing the ones you are entitled to get updated, (22S41/CSP 21P22) I'm not sure how much luck you're going to have getting them to do anything else.

I gotta tell you, I've only come across one other forum member who's dealership service department straight-up lied right to his face.

I guess they think no one can check up on what they did or didn't do. It's hilariously sad really.

Is there another service department you can go to?

If they try and tell you again that they did the updates, ask them to show you on the tech's computer the logs showing the work was done and the available software tab like the one in the pic.

Best of luck in getting this sorted. What you have experienced is exactly why many of us just buy the equipment and get the FDRS license and do it ourselves.

Another amazing day here on the Mach-E FDRS request thread!

Absolutely correct. The GWM is now gone from your list.

Mike

Can these be done OTA or should I require the dealer to install them.

Thanks

Tommy
Well you are in the same boat as a bunch of other late summer Job 2 cars with those exact same modules showing as available.

I have to believe they will push some OTA packages that will cover those. If I were a Forderista I'd put all the cruise-control ones together and send those out as one update. That would include the CCM, CMR, IPMA, and PSCM. Then later I'd do one that included the DSM and the HVAC as it gets closer to winter time, since I understand the HVAC update was to fix a low heat problem in the wintertime.

But really, it's anybody's guess. They're so far behind the curve getting OTAs out and getting farther everytime some new emergency happens.

Who knows.

As for getting the dealer to install them, you'd have to have a specific complaint to go with one of the modules in your list.

Well, in reality, I was already guided by another service manager at another nearby dealership, but the First one already updated in the Ford system, which has already been updated, and for Ford purposes, I do not have a Recall. But this Monday I'm going to make sure they do. Thank you very much for your help and for your time. Then I'll let you know how it went.

28 May '21 build date, Job 1 car eligible for 21G01 BlueCruise update.

I'm guessing you haven't asked your dealer to update your car to BlueCruise functionality yet?

You have all of that plus the 22S41 recall as well.

Don't let them tell you to wait for your BlueCruise to come by OTA. Tell them you want it done by the tech. (21G01/21P22)

Here's your list of available module updates:
3FMTK3SS4MMA24100-21-July-22.webp

Mike
Thanks Mike, appreciate the update - the dealer says that they dont have a EV certified tech to run the BlueCruise update as it is very complex. I will have to find another dealer I think.

Will the other updates come through OTA or will I need to have it done by the dealer?
