Looks like the GPS data for BlueCruise is pretty particular. I tried using it on I-4 Express lanes today (which are very new) but it only came on when it thought I was in the normal I-4 lanes. The express lanes are walled off lanes that run directly next to the regular lanes. And it immediately came on and stayed on when I exited at the end of I-4 Express. Hopefully we’ll get a map update soon.

other than that, I’m loving BC on long trips, works fantastic.

It seems those maps are really important. We have a very tight S curve on AZ 101 near my house and BC tells me to take control at the same spot as I approach it every time. I also noticed that it doesn’t recognize recent improvements where lanes shifted and changed due to widening in other areas as well. Would be nice if the car reports those back for future updates.

Too bad the MME doesn’t project messages onto the windshield. I am not watching the screen when approaching a sharp turn or curve.

It worked well for me on I-4 going thru Orlando but I didn’t use the express lanes. It briefly turned off for the road construction near Lake Monroe and Sanford. Still need to try it out on hwy 429 ( toll ).

You should be noticing the graphics change in your periphery. The dominant color change from bright blue to gray or whatever is pretty significant.

Even if you don't notice it, though, if your hands aren't already on the wheel, then an additional warning box is shown, and if you ignore that, it will start beeping at you, and if you ignore that, it will harsh brake very briefly and then begin slowing you down.

Yeah works great on normal I-4, I’m sure the maps will get updated for the express lanes, I sure hope so, they are nice and not crowded and awesome for hands-free
