I just picked up a used 2021 that won’t do the updates or let me turn on automatic updates. Probably needs a lot of updates if you could check 3FMTK3SU6MMA03945

16 Dec '21 build date, Job 1 car.

Previous owner had it in for squeaking brakes and some powertrain module updates in Nov of '21, and nothing since.

Notably that includes the *free* CSP 21P22 program (as well as the 21G01 BlueCruise update). It is certainly possible that this car is "stuck" with a corrupted data issue in either the APIM, TCU, GWM that is preventing OTAs (they will run 22B08 to determine if that's the case). But at this point with all the CSP 21P22 and the BlueCruise and 22S41 recall updates needing to be done anyway you might as well schedule it in for everything at the same time 21P22, 21G01, 22S41, 22B10.

Having all these listed updates performed will greatly improve your satisfaction with this car.

Labor funding for the CSP 21P22 program is set to expire at the end of Nov. Don't wait too long to make an appointment.

I feel like my car's not downloading OTA updates; Everyone's been talking about several new updates, I'm wondering if anyone can check if I have a stuck update, or if I need to take it to a dealer to complete?

3FMTK4SX8NMA26273

Also wondering about the Qi charger and my phone getting SUPER hot when charging. There's an update for that too?

Hey all,

first thanks to everyone here helping to get a status. This clearly shows that Ford still needs to works on visibility and clarity.
Can anyone help me verify the status of my car ? ( WF0TK1E74MMA64270 ‘21 job 2 European/Belgian)

I brought my car in last tuesday for the high voltage contactor recall and ask to apply all possible upgrade at the same time. But I honestly believe they only did the recall. Anyway to check that or what is available ? (Like the phone one as my iPhone 12 is heating like crazy when on the wireless charger)

thanks a lot !

Unfortunately the WACM update is not in your list. So it may have been updated already...and left you still having problems. I am not getting a sense that OTAs are blocked however.

Thanks Mike!

Should these come OTA, or do we need to take it in?

Thank you so much!

Very curious. See my comments below.

At first glance, on the 17th it would outwardly appear that the tech performed the 22S41 update if you look at this session log:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others WF0TK1E74MMA64270-22-Aug-22work

But then if we expand the hyperlinked programming link for what was supposed to be the BECM module (line 7) we see that the tech was asked if he had connected up a suitable powersupply in order to do the programming, and did he want to continue? (It asks us the same things over here in the US)...And the tech said "No" So programming was stopped.

Your car did not get the recall programming because the tech aborted it, supposedly because they had no powersupply.

I don't know if that's what you were told or not. But the logs are pretty clear on what happened.

You may get the BCM or the OBCC as an OTA update. The DSM would be updated in response to a concern you have about the seats and mirrors not adjusting to the correct settings for the key fob you're using. The HVAC update would be done in response to a concern you might have about not getting enough cabin heat when it's cold outside.

So if you wanted to go in for those two they may just do the BCM and OBCC at the same time because they take only minutes to do. It depends on your service techs really.

Could somebody check 3FMTK3SU7MMA64883 ?

My car shows the recall was done even though I had a message it failed, my phone fordpass app reports the last update was 2.8.3 from late July (which was before it said the recall update failed a few days after that), my iPad fordpass app shows the last update was a long string of numbers a few days before the phone saying 2.8.3 and both apps and the Ford website still indicate I need the recall done.

So curious if FDRS could tell me if I still need it or not.

Edit: Was going to take it to the dealer to find out but they want the car for 2-3 days and not until sometime in September. grrrrr

Here's your list of available updates, which includes all modules related to 22S41. So that is not yet complete.

@Mike G Thank you so much for attaching those documents to the FDRS screenshot!! Just got off the phone with my service advisor who (politely) tried to say that those modules were only if I was having issues.... Thanks to you, I was able to counter with the fact that it should have been performed as part of 21G01 and point him exactly to where it specified that in the document! I also can't imagine that the updates would only show in FDRS and not pull up in their OASIS system... anyone able to confirm/clarify this factoid?

Ah ! Indeed this looks pretty clear. I had a “feeling” that it would go wrong as there is still not a lot of Mach-e in Belgium and they didn’t really look to be knowing what they were doing … Will circle back to have it corrected.
will also push for the WACM (iPhone heating) and the DSM one (seat not always recalling setting on start). Any other advices on updates I should push for ? I‘m mainly interested in a sync update (to have Apple maps aware that I’m driving a EV)
Will update you when I have feedback of the dealer.

This could be interesting.
Mine was built a week ago and is about to be shipped. Does it make sense to check it already? If so, here’s the VIN. Maybe it’s not helpful since it’s a new build.
