They did do the recall on the 24th as well as CSP 21P22 modules.

Here's what they didn't do:

Sorry to bug you again, but can you run 3FMTK3SS1MMA55482 one more time? The car is at the dealer now and they said they show zero updates on their FDRS. That doesn't align with above and I can't understand why they wouldn't see them. They also said 22B08 isn't available and TSB 22-2150 isn't for my car. So frustrating that the dealer doesn't understand the issues.

Thanks!

It's kinda sad...the devastating effects that drugs have had on the younger generations, I think.

So here's the SW Updates listing tab in FDRS as of 2:45 PM Central time after I put in the VIN you provided. Please confirm that it's your VIN in the lower left corner of the image. If so, these are the currently available updates for your car.

You may need a decoder ring the next time you talk to them. It looks like they may have told you a shortened version of "We see zero updates in FDRS that Ford is going to pay us to update without a corresponding customer concern from you that makes us update them."

I feel like my car's not downloading OTA updates; Everyone's been talking about several new updates, I'm wondering if anyone can check if I have a stuck update, or if I need to take it to a dealer to complete?

Also wondering about the Qi charger and my phone getting SUPER hot when charging. There's an update for that too?
My Qi charger today just overheated my iPhone 12 max! I wonder if something happened this past weekend if I had an update that would have effected it?

Mike I had the same issue today with phone overheating could you check for those updates for me? I think what you are doing for those who have questions and need answers is awesome and wish the dealers and our cars listed these for us to do on our own.

My vin if you have time. Thank you in advance!

Hi Mike,

Could I ask you to run my VIN again. Just picked it my car from the dealer. They were supposed to update for the recall and was told "anything else that was required before performing that update". After you ran this a week or so ago, I called Ford who confirmed I had several old modules and a stuck update. They created a case number and when I dropped off the car they said they would take a look at it. Not confident on what they did. Thanks!

Your car must have been born with the WACM update already installed cause it's not listed as an update you need.

Well I can certainly understand your lack of confidence in the shop doing your programming.

Here's what happened when they were doing the programming on the 22S41 recall today:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others 3FMTK3R70MMA62828-6-Sep-22work

Started off with the PCM as the instructions say to do...but when it got down to the end of the process and failed and the tech is told to do it over....he never went back.

So that's why you still have the PCM in this list:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others 3FMTK3R70MMA62828-6-Sep-22

The only thing they even attempted to do today was the 22S41 recall...and they didn't even get that right.

The WACM (as well as the DSP) cannot be updated by OTA. They can only be updated using the FDRS system (normally by a dealer tech).

Hi all,

If anybody could run my VIN again I'd appreciate it. After the last time I took the car in for them to look into the fact that my puddle lights didn't work and PAAK wasn't showing in FordPass and explained that it seemed to be missing the 21P22 updates (thanks to Mike for this!). They had the car for 3 days and sent me on my merry way.

I noticed there were a few changes like the driving efficiency starting to work properly, but my puddle lights and PAAK still didn't work. I've since spent months going back and forth with Ford UK Support over email, and they're saying PAAK doesn't work in any capacity at all in the UK (which I don't believe is true based on other members of this forum). They've also claimed that they're not able to see the version of the car's modules and to go to a dealer instead.

Essentially, they've fobbed me off to be somebody else's problem.

I can't tell exactly which Power-Up I'm on either as the car was built in Jan but I've never actually received an update. The only info I have is SYNC4 v4.0.21326, which appears to be out of date.

VIN: WF0TR1R74MMA63903

Thanks in advance!

This is the typical list I'm used to seeing for a late '21 (Job 2) car.

On the 5th of July your tech did do the 22S41 recall as well as your OBCC which should have helped your charging.

However, the tech attempted to program your GWM (gateway module) and it started off poorly with a warning about only having a 63% LVB state of charge, but they pushed on anyway, and subsequently encountered repeated loss of communication with the vehicle (VCM cable problems?) and the update ultimately failed and was not reattempted.

Here's the session screengrab from that event on the 5th:

I point this out because I don't know how much you were told about what happened that day.

Thanks again Mike. Really appreciate you taking time out of your day to share that. The only thing I got from the dealer was a quote of the manual for how the puddle lamps work (I've only ever seen them work once), and how to set up PAAK in the app (which I already knew).

This log will be extremely valuable when I get it back into the dealership later this month, I'll see if I can speak with the tech directly as they clearly will attempt to fob us off if they're struggling with something.

Hello,

Could someone please check my vin and give some data like build date etc? The dealer said on the last visit that they updated the WACM software, but I think the update failed.
Thanks,
Mark

Actually your WACM was updated on the 30th of July...which begs the question as to how it appears in this list of available updates:

I'm pretty sure there's only been one WACM update this year that I'm aware of, and according to the session logs on the 30th of July your car got successfully updated. At least that's what FDRS shows. Haven't seen that happen before.
