Ford execs have been saying the same thing and quoted in this thread since it started and it still keeps going lol. it's clear it's coming, just NOT YET.

I haven't seen a known Ford exec username post that it is coming to older cars in this thread.

I just really hope that they use the blank space on the top for dedicated or user selectable buttons.

I want to have a at least a one touch button for:
Camera
Trunk (locked out if not in park)
Frunk (locked out if not in park)
Car Play

Perhaps future UI updates would be to reserve space for “fixed” buttons.

Are you sure? Do you have proof? When you learned this, had the person telling you sworn on a bible to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? If you read it, was the document you read from stamped "certified by Ford senior management", dated and signed? If it was, was that document then notarized and time-stamped?

If you're that far behind, the odds are there is something wrong with the car that only the dealer can update. So good luck with that.

That doesn't seem to be the case with my car. It is stalled at 2.7.4 in the BC series. The recall OTA installed fine, as did the "horn and lights" update that did not have a 'normal' PowerUp number but a long alphanumeric similar to a Ford part number. ?‍
I have another queued now but I have not had a chance to go for a drive.

Huh? What "history of MME OTAs" leads you to believe we won't get updates planned for existing models?

Bluecruise? Check.
Charging Curve? Check.
Usable battery? Check.

That's because word on the street is that the unlocked capacity was added to the bottom buffer below zero miles. So you won't see an increase in the range calculation.

Like the reserve gas tank in old VW Beetles. If you can't use it beyond limping down the road, it doesn't count though imo.

Oh! Thanks for that info. Sort of like how, back with my ICE, I was always able to drive a bit beyond E (not that I EVER did that when I was younger and stupider ???)

Yes, the Select now comes with the BlueCruise and 360 Camera hardware standard, but you have to pay $1900 to use them after 90 days.
