Now most of us are in production I'm curious about everyone's home charging plan.

Has anyone already purchased a home charger?

Does anyone already have an EV/charger and would like to share their feedback?

I'd love to hear people's thoughts.
This is my first EV, but I wanted to “do it right” so I had a ChargePoint home flex installed. I had it hard wired so I could connect it to a 60 amp breaker for faster charge times than the NEMA 14-50 can produce. I’ve also seen a few posts about melted plugs, so I wanted to void the plug entirely. I haven’t used it yet, so can’t provide much feedback, but there are tons of reviews on this forum and online and all I have seen are very positive.

Emporia with a NEMA 14-50 plug on a 50-amp breaker (for charging at 40-amps). It can also be hardwired with a 60-amp breaker for charging at 48-amps. It's just hanging there waiting for the car!

I have both a NEMA 14-50 and a 60 amp hardwire circuit installed in my garage (fed from a dedicated 100 amp subpanel) and have a ChargePoint Home Flex here awaiting the electrician. Also installed a NEMA 14-50 out in the driveway. I originally planned on the Ford home charger, but changed my mind and got the CP. It has a 50 amp rating, but I’d have to upgrade the wiring and breaker to 70 amp to take full advantage. I’m sure 48 amp will work out just fine.

I was thinking about solar but due to changes to net metering the ROI is like 45 years..... So just going to use the previous electric water heater hookup to power the mobile charger

Those changes haven't taken effect yet, and there's still a chance to be grandfathered in. I'm expecting permits for my system next week. There are other reasons to go solar other than just ROI...

NEM3 isn't a thing yet. NEM2 is bad but hard to see how it's a 45y horizon right now? the peak pricing from 4-9pm does really kill solar ROI, but if you get storage you can time shift the exports back to the peak periods.

Yesterday Chat said 12/7 - 12/12, so not sure why today it was a week behind. I'm sure it will change back and forth between now and December
Contacted ford chat, mine is “in transit”. What confuses me, is that, it’s on the same time trajectory for all the events that’ve taken place so far, but when I asked chat 3 weeks ago, they said the eta would be 12/6-12/12. But today they said 1/11-1/17. Hoping for a December arrival, otherwise without tax credit, I would honestly switch to an ev6 if they had one at 0 markup
It's normal for the ETA to get pushed back. If anything, go with the more recent eta. Mine was originly scheduled for 11/3 delivery and got pushed back to 11/20. Definitely past my 11/3 delivery range and still waiting....

What’s your sequence number? Which batch?

I’m gonna be completely honest, I have no idea what either of those are, or where to find them. Idek what modules are, just that I have them haha. If I knew, I would’ve definitely provided them ?

tear tag appears at the top of the modules webpage. it's either blank or there's something there.

the sequence and batch are on the window sticker.
