9/19 week Build Group

My car was delivered to the dealer in Santa Cruz, CA this afternoon (though I've yet to hear from the dealer). Since I'm out of town till Saturday, I'm looking forward to picking up the car this coming Sunday .

My car was at the rail yard in Richmond, CA for an entire week before being picked up and trucked down this morning, along with six other vehicles for the same dealer.

My car got to the dealer very quick after Elkhart. I am pretty sure that was its last stop.

Sylveon's first DC fast charge! Found myself an hour from home with a working EA station and wanted to test out DCFC. Mine was the only car there for a few, then a Volvo C40 came to join me. I was excited to finally see one in person. Of course, it had to be the exact color and spec that I almost bought instead. LOL As much as I loved it, I think I like the look of my MME better. Had a chat with a friendly guy from TN about our cars while we charged.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful this year to have my MME and for the new friends I have made on this forum! ?

Looks like my estimated delivery date moved up 2 days hopefully that means i should get it by mid next week assuming no more surprises

Had a couple snowy days of late. No traction issues with stock tires and AWD. Temperatures in the 10-30 degree realm and range has been around 195 miles. We blast the heat though!

Just for fun, here's a picture of Wattney this morning, after a wash with Chemical Guys foam cannon and Sticky Snowball. Compared to our Jeep (that we did at the same time), the rinse just melted right off with the ceramic coating. Not great light, but the orange is really popping. And I'm still loving Blue Cruise. I didn't realize you could use it most places, just not in hands-free mode (if you haven't tried it, it just yells at you if you take your hands off for longer than five seconds or so). It worked in the rain the other night, when it can be hard to see lines, and it worked great when Shoop by Salt-n-Pepa came on the radio and I needed to take me hands off the wheel and dance for just a second.

Just received a message from the dealer this morning, asking to come pick up the car this weekend - consider my car delivered, if you wish, @KIMache! I'll likely pick it up early next week, and post a photo here.

This is really my wife's car, and she decided to pop by the dealer's today to check out the car (her pick-up appt. is Tuesday). The car's been fully-detailed, charged up, and is being displayed in the showroom. A few quick photos:

We exercised winter battery range this weekend and took our car on an overnight multi-stage family trip in rural Wisconsin. So, 3.5 hrs of driving, with the car parked outside overnight in 33-40 degree temps. Got home with about 50 miles left on the guess-o-meter. I wouldn't say I had range anxiety, because the math worked, but since it was the first trip, I had some mild nerves. We had a few charging options (a private business and a tech school parking lot) along the way in case, but didn't need to use them. And figured we could always plug in for a few extra miles at our last family member's house if we were nervous, but alas, we didn't need to steal their juice.

Well, dealer said its expected to arrive tomorrow from the computer so hopefully its right. Should mean I can pickup either tomorrow night or wednesday evening assuming no issues/glitches
