Unfortunately they don't. The gear ratios are fixed on each axle differential.

I was disappointed that they didn't put a much higher gear ratio on one motor for high speed cruising. Buy they're almost the same. 9.05 and 10.0, IIRC.
Yes, I'm surprised they didn't put a higher gear on the front motor of the AWD to maximize range.

you should read page 2 of section 17. The EPA numbers are very close to 270
Same numbers as the OP of this thread. After 19 pages I am not sure if all agree it is very close.
And this 10% difference can easily be close with an OTA update.
A hardwired update at the factory would also work. Hoping for something from the clouds is wishful.
twenty and still zero content
Epa results and nothing, articles written and nothing, ford makes a statement and nothing, ford comment on this thread and absolutely zero. More jokes required; GoGo is getting bored

18kWh/100km is 3.4 miles/kWh, which matches exactly the projected 300 miles on 88 kWh battery. So that's good news. One anecdotal datapoint.

Another good one was the Norway drive from Oslo to Trondheim, which beat those numbers.

But there's also been a number of screenshots of show cars that consistently come in below the 300/270, more consistent with the lower numbers in this thread. So it's all over the map. Not sure we know any more today than we knew a week or month or 3 months ago. You're right - real world tests are needed, by independent reviewers. Hope C/D can get their hands on one soon and do their 75 MPH test.
You have to remember that vehicle is RWD and it’s actually just around 280, which is what the EPA numbers reveal.

I do wish they had chosen just a little higher gear ratio to shift a little more efficiency to high speeds. I know that would have hurt 0-60 acceleration a bit, but personally there's way more there than I'll ever use.

I'm not sure if it would really work this way, but if (for instance) shifting 0-60 from 5 seconds to 6 bought 30 more miles of range at 75 MPH, I'd gladly make that trade.
Not me, personally. It's a Mustang after all -- it's gotta have SOME emphasis on acceleration:)
I'll trade 30 miles of range for 1 second faster 0-60.
But not for the price of the GT model.

I’m sure there was a meeting at Ford yesterday and someone was getting chewed out. That person was saying, I don’t know what happened. Why can’t these people just wait for us to finish the testing. Why do they to go searching around, stirring up trouble.

At the same time I'm I don't think they're too disappointed they're getting tons of publicity for free they don't even have to advertise
