Hi,

Just got my car back from the dealer (21 Job 1). They were fantastic and spent 8 hours updating various modules including 2 or 3 APIM updates. Also had the frunk button enabled on the access screen, the 21P25 field service action and a service done. I’m now on version 539 of the Sync system so unfortunately didn’t get the latest UI. Guess it’s not available yet for me. Hopefully after these updates my car will start getting OTAs in future. Would someone be kind enough to just check if any other updates have queued up on my vehicle since. WF0TR3SU6MMA17825. Thanks.

Hi there. My car stopped receiving OTA updates in the Fall and I spoke to connect services who confirmed and told me to go to the dealer. UGH. Wondering if there are any updates in FDRS waiting or if there's anything I can do/run in FDRS to resolve this at home. Many thanks!

PS: had issue last week where I wasn't getting any wifi/cell data and pulled/replaced fuse 11 which solved the issue.

Doing the GWM will lead to the new UI Sync 640 APIM update, and then another GWM update after that. Doing the OBCC has none of those benefits or thrills, but while you're there.....you know.

It would be a bit of both. The APIM can, and usually is, updated via OTA. The others are ususally done by a tech in the shop (or by you at home).

To do at home I will need FRDS license and VSII module right ? there is no other way or easier ?
