Hei Mike G. Kan du sjekke VIN-koden min: WF0TK3SU5MMA27265.

Hi Mike G. Could you please check my VIN: WF0TK3SU5MMA27265 ? If I were to pay the dealer for updates, which updates on FDRS are the most important that they perform and should be prioritized you think and can give me the most utility. Some updates maybe trigger new updates and are more important? This is a European car (Norway) and I don't have any particular problems with the car, I just want it to be better updated. My last OTA through a 1.5 year ownership was 12/12/2022 and was the one called: 22-PU0727-VI-FXB. Through ownership I have only received a total of three OTAs. In addition, it was updated twice at the dealer's workshop, the last time on 24/05/2022.
9 Apr '21 build date, Job 1 car.

Here's the list of available updates:

Here in the US Ford is paying for our cars to get the HVAC update to provide more heat. I would imagine that where you live that would be helpful.

I would ignore the powertrain updates for the time being (PCM, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, SOBDMC).

If you are not having problems with DC fast charging you can skip the OBCC for now.

The APIM is useful as it often brings additional features.

The BCM and GFM combo would allow you to open your Frunk with the door keypad, or a key fob if you have one with that button.

The DSM is a good update if you are having problems with your seat and mirrors not adjusting to the proper profile for the current driver. Can be free, if you say you have this as a concern.

The GSM update is for those cars where an error is showing in the system (ask your tech). If there's an error that one should be free.

Would anyone be able to check VIN -
3FMTK1RM7MMA07237

Just got back from the dealer for a PAAK issue stemming from previous updates - they say they further updated my car and PAAK worked for them. I get home; PAAK creates a key but fails to operate the vehicle and will fail to set up backup passcodes. I’d love to see what work they actually did if anything. Just frustrated at my bizarre issue, I also lost Alexa from Sync (??).
Heading back this week for them to show me how they go PAAK to actually work.

So I got a letter from Ford saying that I needed to complete the 22S41 recall, but I swear I had that OTA over the summer...can someone look it up for me?

On the 16th they read up on the issue...did a pinpoint test...did more reading....

Anything starting with "PTS" is them looking up symptoms or reading the manual...etc.

On the 17th they just pulled your VIN in the connected vehicle dashboard to check status..that's it.

A few things to consider:

OTA history in the PTS system "OTA dashboard" only goes back 60 days.

OTA processes are not visible in the FDRS software, just the history of when a tech did actual programming, or if a tech or service advisor pulled your VIN in the PTS system.

The set of powertrain updates that the recall updated have been 'refreshed' at least three times since that recall was announced. Even if you did the get the recall by OTA they're out of date again. Going to the dealer to get this done (for free) gets you the latest version of the updates (it does look like you got the HVAC update by OTA).

This is from ETIS for your VIN:

Well there's a GWM to go with that "lump of coal" OBCC you got in your stocking....Is that good?

Hi Mike

Could you run my VIN? I'm headed into the dealer tomorrow... mostly for the issue that my fob often sets me up in my wife's profile, but also the loss of Bluetooth, and the HVAC update. Not sure if the hot phone issue is still there since I don't use the charger that often. When I talked to the service department at my dealer on this stuff, they were beyond clueless. Wish me luck...

VIN: 3FMTK3SU7NMA15619

Thanks

Good morning! If you are able to send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info, I can look into this for you.
