Paint Protection Film. Being applied to entire front of vehicle to protect from where most road debris causes problems.
Ceramic on the rest. Front windows tinted to match back. Clear coating on windshield to further limit uv and interior protection on space gray

here she is at the dealer before I pick up tomorrow

I've been a silver car guy all my life (usually for neutrality) but some cars just look great in it. Nice choice!

Picked up yesterday. All went smooth once I got the price adjusted to reflect the new, lower prices.

I was shocked when I found the car going into handsfree on the drive home as I was not expecting that to be activated for a few days/weeks based on feedback I have seen on the messages lately. Drove home most of the way handsfree and then drove to and from a basketball game downtown handsfree as well. Gonna take me some time to get used to that and feel more comfortable but it was great to see how well it handled it all.

That's awesome! We have put 700+ miles on it since we got it on the 24th, but I have still not driven on a stretch of road where hands free works. I did use the lane keeping and cruise control on a back country road once, though, and that was pretty trippy and really cool to see the car mostly handle itself. I barely had to keep my hands on the wheel. Actually reminded me of how the autopilot mode on my sister's Model3 was.

Maybe I need to head out to I25 and see if I can blue cruise...

I was amazed at how well it handled. I got nervous around traffic but it handled well in straight and curves (although I admit I had my hands hovering next to wheel a few times because I just don't trust it enough yet). Hope you get to hit some handsfree roadway soon so I can hear your impressions.

How are all the 11/28 Mach E owners doing? This thread went quiet so I am hoping everyone from our week has gotten theirs?

I'm still waiting for the dealer to refund me my initial $500 deposit. They said they can't do a credit card refund because the transaction is beyond the refund limits, so they have to issue a check.

I'm waiting for my official plates to arrive, so I can order the front license plate decal (I don't want to drill out my front).

Overall I love how the car drives, but I have had some issues with the SW (drive mode not available issue, and several times the screen has hung/glitched out).

I love the responsiveness and handling. I love that I can switch to a faster moving lane on the highway and nearly-instantly match that lane's speed.

Hands-free blue cruise is very fun, and even the hands-on blue cruise is enjoyable.

I do have some doubts about how long this car will last me (my last car lasted for 14 years). I'm not even worried about the battery (that is a rather known variable), but the amount of sensors / tech-modules on this car and the over-complicated cooling system in this car == all possible points of failure. But for now I"m enjoying the ride.

How about you all?

Hey! Still smitten, here.
Love driving it... though I'm doing a Right Track through my insurance and they are making me drive like I have dynamite on board, so no super fun for the next couple of months.

I'm seeing the odd quirk too, but nothing that's screaming at me yet.
Same here... the car I traded in was new back in 2008. Would settle for 10 years (100k) from this. We'll see how the tech holds up.

Now we're in the 50's temp wise, I'm seeing ~250miles range based on my kwh/mile rates, so happy there too.

Am I the last one??? I have been a lurker for a while, this is my first post. And here I am...waiting...still. ?

I checked in again this morning and they say it's STILL sitting in Laredo. Like how is that even possible??? The good news is this thread helped me realize my MSRP went down $3700, so THANK YOU! I'm pretty sure my dealer wouldn't have told me. It's been a wild ride....well not really, I'm not riding anything.

Also bought my 16-year-old a brand-new Bronco Sport for his birthday. It's been in the shop nearly a month and they are putting a new engine in it. Went crazy four days after we brought it home, my kid had barely driven it. Come Monday it qualifies for the lemon law in Oregon so just lots of waiting with Ford right now. Less than thrilled.

Same here, milage has gone up quite a bit with the warmer temps.

Blue cruise is so much fun. I finally had a chance to use it on I25 this weekend. It was kind of scary at first, but then I told my wife "Man, I'm kind of bored just sitting here" haha.

I did notice that it seemed like we weren't getting very good traction since the snow had kind of turned to ice in some spots. I get that ice and traction aren't friends, but this felt worse than usual. Then I was looking at the stats on the car and I noticed the dealer had filled the tires to 50PSI, so I let out some air today to get them down to 39/40 (which is what the ford app recommends for the cold) so we'll see if that helps.

All in all I'm still really happy. Car is super fun to drive. I had to drive our minivan this weekend and I felt like I was driving a school bus, haha. Going to be taking a trip to Denver in a couple of weeks so am curious to try Blue Cruise on a 60ish mile stretch of 25.

Now if only Ford would get back to us about the lower MSRP...

Whoa, did you get this from Ford Chat or from the dealer? if from the dealer, did you use vinview? That seems wild that the car is still in Laredo. When did it supposedly ship from Mexico City?

Both the dealer and ford chat have told me it's still in Laredo as of today.

The dealer is saying Feb 23, but that's not likely at this point. Oh and it shipped the same week everyone else's did. It's just been sitting.

Kinda wish I grabbed my GT now. 8.5k private offer 5.8k msrp reduction, xplan was about a grand, 7.5 tax credit. Oh well couldn’t predict the future

I am so sorry you are still waiting. That is very frustrating. I always suspected that KC depot waits until there are enough units moving in the area of the country before they ship them out. I wonder if that is what is going on. The lack of communication, and the lack of consistency within Ford's logistics stream, is very mind-boggling. Hope you get some good news soon.

Hope you also love yours as much as I do mine once you get it.

They called me yesterday and gave me a few options to go pick up. Said they could get a dealer transfer and have it here in 3-5 days. Why do I feel attached to the one (maybe) sitting on a train???

Do the options they gave you match your order specs? If not, you have to decide if the substitute is worth the convenience of not waiting it out or not. I know while i was waiting I looked at other vehicles but I was looking at Lightnings and not another Mach-E since none of the Mach-E's I could find within a reasonable distance matched what I ordered.

Ford Mustang Mach-E 11/28/22 Build Week Gang 20230226_011218

1,400 miles in. I *finally* got around to a decent clean - I'm usually such a lazy carwasher.
Dealer also got around to install a bunch more clear bra (for charge port and A pillars) just waiting on more for the front/fender, and they put on the window deflectors - a little bit of noise, due to the design, but I like to be able to open the window a little when it's raining.
Also slapped on some AOSK pedals and foot rest. A little fiddly to get the accelerator on but they feel good so it was worth it.

Yes... that was pre-clean!
Hope everyone is having fun - and I hope they sorted you out @KJai !
