Hi,
I have the 4.2.1 update message in the "software updates" section of the SYNC. Essentially that screen looks like if I had received 4.2.1 OTA.

Possible dumb question. My car says that it’s downloaded 4.1.3 but it hasn’t installed it yet (not a biggie to me since I’ll FDRS it in if it hasn’t installed in a couple of months). Could your car have possibly downloaded 4.2.1 but not installed it yet? ?‍?

Others have reported getting 4.2.1 and never getting 4.1.3 at all. Both are GWM updates and the later revision directly replaces the older one.

On the 10th they very likely cleared off your list entirely. This morning you have a gateway update in your list as the only item.

You have an OBCC, and the gateway update (GWM) that is the same as PowerUp 4.2.1

I haven't seen this before but on the other hand I knew it was possible...

You do have a gateway revision that indicates you got 4.1.1 ("-LAD" rev.).

And you're correct the next thing should have been the APIM update in your list, but for some reason that didn't download yet. (you can ask your service advisor on the phone to check your OTA dashboard and tell you why).

And the new wrinkle is you have the next gateway (GWM) update already in your list. this may be somehow blocking you getting the APIM.

Despite what the normally recommended sequence is for updating (GWM then APIM then TCU) I strongly recommend that if a tech does this update to fix your car that he/she goes straight to the APIM first before doing that GWM in the list just to try to follow the sequence that should have occurred (the 4.11 you got, followed by the APIM/4.1.2 you haven't gotten yet, and then that next GWM/4.1.3- which could actually be 4.2.1 at this point since it's been that long.)

I just today, and it appears I got a new APIM update in my list. I bought a battery charger so I can do it this weekend/upcoming week. Any suggestions/Recommendations before I do that?

I recently had my windshield replaced. When I did, they plugged my car in and said that it was reporting a number of trouble codes. I have an OBD plug and scanner app, but thought it might make sense too see if anything else is going on behind the scenes.

Not receiving any updates from time I received car in Sep 2022, 2 visits to dealership still not getting updates. Both visits they noted vehicle is up to date but still not seeing latest features.

When I reached out to OTA they are asking me to schedule update which I dont see that on sync screen. Can someone do quick check if there are any pending updates or any suggestions if something is out of line with updates.
