Hey @Mike G could you run my vin please? I've only had the Mach-E for two months, I've seen just one update come through. I'd love to have some info to help me push on the dealer.
VIN: 3FMTK4SEXNMA26502
28 Aug '22 build date (GT).

Well I can tell you what I believe the issue is. And I believe, and others with '22 models have confirmed, that when they got their PCM updated it overcame the 'PCM dependency' issue that was blocking further updates from coming as OTAs (like the gateway and new Sync updates, etc.).

That seems to be the case with your status as well. (no GWM or APIM updates in the list, but you do have a PCM update). Dealer techs don't like it when the customer tries to tell them that the solution is something that "the internet says" will fix their problem...in fact in a couple of cases in this thread the service advisor/tech flat out said that there weren't any updates and when Ford sends you one you'll get it. So yeah, they may not see this as a 'problem'. But if they're willing to give it a try to prove you wrong...you'll likely end up with a new GWM (gateway) update in your list right after they update that PCM.

@Mike G Thanks!!! I may just spring for a passthrough cable and the two day FRDS license to update it myself now that you confirmed the status for me. Will probably be a lot easier than arguing with the dealer. Thanks again, you rock.
Don’t forget a good power supply (or two). ??

I've done all the updates that were available for my Job 1 and now my Ford Pass seems to be unresponsive.

I have dtc in gwm, u2401 or similar, ethernet error with apim.

Is this a known problem?

Same here took vehicle to stealership for something unrelated and asked them to look into why I was having same issue as "ROBKATHI" and was told that they had to order an new APIM module and no ETA for it. Was told that ok to drive vehicle but until the APIM replacement I wouldn't be able to use fordpass. However HF blue cruise is working fine? And I am fully updated per "Mike G"

Well you and @dhova97 are the first to report the same thing. I'm sure it's not a coincidence given that you both just did all your updates.

Well, at least i'm not alone with my problem ?
I've been playing around with fdrs a bit in the last hours and somewhere in the tcu calibration a message popped up about that my gwm is on chinese region, to change it i should do a gwm programming, any Idea about that?
Didnt found out where to change the region?

Try the tool that says "Read the Gateway Module Configuration Data".

And if that doesn't do anything you can try a PMI procedure. And when you're asked if the original is installed, you say "No" and it re-installs the software you're supposed to have and then does a configuration.

Seems i'm still in china ?
Maybe just sit and wait for the next gwm update ?

Nope...do either a GWM Config or a PMI (try config first).

I have no idea why this is happening. That is so weird.

Hi Mike,

I'm planning to start programming here this afternoon. If you happen to have a list-order recommendation for a first-timer, I'd sure appreciate it, if you happen to be checking the forums! I'l be sure to avoid the maintenance window tomorrow morning as well.

Thx!

greg

Greg;

There is a gateway in your list that should come as an OTA.

When you get closer to the day you plan on updating get back with me and I'll give you a list order recommendation. Best to plan on doing most of the list (if not all of it) on a Saturday because of the Sunday cloud server maintenance Ford does. You can program on Sundays but they will take their system offline around 0900-1030 central time to do maintenance, so if you're trying to do an update you may get a failure notification because FDRS lost it's connection while you were doing it.

This is how I'd proceed with one caveat....if after programming a module when you're returned to the list and you see a GWM, APIM, or TCU that wasn't there before, do those before you continue on with your list order.

Make sure you reformat your USB 3.0 drive to exFat, default allocation size, every single time before using it on the next USB update, don't leave files from previous updates on it and then add new ones. Reformat first. Keep the name of the drive as short as possible (but definitely under 11 characters!), or just leave the name blank.

On some of these the list order I created take into account that they are "coordinated" updates. like the cruise control ones for example. You start off with the CCM and then FDRS decides which one of those associated updates to do next (CMR, IPMA, PSCM, etc.) so you're just along for the ride at that point. Just click "OK" at the appropriate time and turn on and off the start switch when you're supposed to...you'll get the hang of it in no time.
