I don't know, Shelby was pretty famous for putting his name on anything for a buck in the 80s. There was a Shelby Dodge Lancer and a Shelby Dodge Omni....

$1000 to make an electric car sound like a v8?... The only question is how fast this will go from valueless to ridicule. It's the woodgrain vinyl of the 2020's.

Only 100 of the packages will be offered in Europe for the Carroll Shelby Centennial.

I think 100 will be more than enough to meet the demand.

There is no GTPE in Europe the as GT over there is the GTPE. the GT is just a a cheaper option for these shores.

With it being limited to just 100 units probably just a quick way to try a recover some of the money wasted on trying to develop a performance upgrade to find that the GTPE has no performance ? . There always plenty of people with more money than sense that will jump in and purchase a limited edition. so they can be one of chosen few.

There are no CARB politics to navigate with EVs if there was some potential in the GT/GTPE you would have thought Ford would have already offered some home grown Ford Performance parts by now to cash in the market of those that want more get up and go. So far all they have offered is the EV motor as a crate option and the GTPE wheels. sums it up

I was able to fix that. I can’t fix Shelby calling a couple appearance mods a worthwhile upgrade.
