But if you’d like to point at any examples in history where people paid Shelby for a cosmetic upgrade and then made money when selling the car, feel free!

I get it that some people will gladly pay this. Some people are happy with cosmetic upgrades.

Especially after Shelby has been promising performance upgrades for the last two years. And after all that wait we get?????? Nothing. Just a let down is all.

The “Shelby GT” was very different from the GT500.

But unlike the Mach E it did still have some mild performance upgrades:

Last year at Mustang week, got to meet Gary Patterson with his personal (non production) Shelby MME GT PE. I excited for Shelby. Too bad about all the naysayers on SM and even here.

^^^ That looks better and costs less I imagine. I’d buy the hood if it didn’t torch the range or fill up with water. With that hood you don’t need a Frink button. I assume based on the shape it’s a Frunk Dump slide.

That's not the car he's talking about, that Ford is the regular GT500 straight from Ford, never went to Shelby American.

The car he's talking about is the Ford Shelby GT which is based on the regular Mustang GT (not the GT500).

That car has small front brakes so it’s probably a GT. I suppose they couldn’t lower the GT-PE that much without the car complaining. They didn’t mention anything about things done to the suspension other than lowering the car, so I wonder if they have done anything with dampers or anti-swag bars. They did say that they were aiming for a comfortable ride. ?‍?

Yeah definitely a GT (non PE), you can tell by the tires. Cheap bastards put worse tires than you can get from the factory.

Also they couldn’t figure out how to lower it with Magneride I guess.
