Push notifications from FordPass stopped working for me when iOS 16 was released, and they never came back.

That must be the reason then, cause I think that’s when they stopped for me as well

Back in 2021 I told everyone that Securialert was mistakenly enabled for US vehicles. We should have never had it unless your MME is part of a fleet program.

So this explains why I was always getting Securialert messages on my 2021 Mach-E until Ford bought it back.

My 2022 has not had any alerts appear, even when some broke the passenger rear door window. However, the motion sensor alarm triggered and seemed to scare them off as they didn’t open the door and my car was the last one broken into in the row.

Ford needs to add back the Securialert feature – with the bugs fixed - so we can get break-in alerts and the Mach-E can be a little more competitive with Tesla. Maybe we all need to tweet this request at the Ford CEO, and the automotive/EV press before all the mainstream media outlets leave Twitter.

My alarm notification hasn't worked for months. I routinely leave people in the car when I run in somewhere and they have to call me to turn off the alarm because it doesn't notify me.

While it may work for some people, don't count on it.

Yes, SecuriAlert was removed in the USA. I don't think it alerted to charge port door opening anyway.

it never worked right anyway. I would get alerts the next day or not at all. Since they removed it I been getting alerts during the day when I never had it set for daytime. I got one this morning from yesterday and its removed. Who would pay for this if it's offered as a monthly service when it never worked right from the beginning?

Hi. Today i parked my car and when i returned i found out that somebody opened my charging door. I didnt get any notification in the Ford app. I used to get notification if something is open as trunk, door ect. but for the last couple months nothing. Also when i go to Safety and Security in the app the only option now is Ford Insure. Did they remove this feature ?

Strangely enough, SecuriAlert was removed for my Mach E and is still there (and buggy as ever) for my Lightning.

I was not receiving any alerts for a few months and wondered why. At my last trip to the dealer for a different issue they installed a module update and serviced my 12V battery which probably caused a hard reboot of the car and ever since then I now get every notification again. It’s possible this function somehow gets “stuck” and it takes a reboot to fix it?

I have this issue as well.

I turned on security alert when I went to work and when I returned, Ford had removed the button from the app so now I have no way of turning off alerts.

Any workarounds on this issue?

Same here, unfortunately. And I turned it on relatively recently, too. In a twist of fate, the notifications have gotten a lot more reliable lately - like within seconds of an event ?
