Thanks Mike. And yes, this is what I will do: to let them update the APIM. Let's see what the result will be. So far I have no reason to doubt in what they told me, as they always have been very supportive and showed qualified execution. But if now the update will not work, we have a good argumentation to change the module.
Again, thanks a lot for your support!!!!
I have been through this starting in Oct 22. It's my belief that they did not have a adequate memory stick to conform with the APIM and locked it up. And since it didn't get done in the 28 days that is required, it locked up permanently, requiring replacement. Finally a new APIM came in in May 23. but after replacement they could not program it. Worked on it all Friday and even had the tech come in Saturday. A Ford corporate tech finally reprogrammed it on line on Monday morning.
So don't be surprised if they have to involve a corporate tech. After all, the anti theft system is part of the APIM.

I must admit that actually not this is what I wanted to hear ;-)
Now I am both curious and nervous. But let see...

Hi, can somebody please check my VIN WF0TK1E79MMA32172

I got the following message in the Ford pass app on Thursday and now I'm curious if there are any updates already. Maybe even an APIM update finally arrived for Europe ?

Vehicle security is important. And there are dealers out there that are not always up and up. Ask the insurance company's.

It's no big deal, but it did cost me having the car to use for a weekend. And the loaner was not something I would normally drive.

Dear experts,
maybe you can help me with an observation for my case above:
As already written, I received an OTA update for PU 23-PU2001-PR-FX end of last week. Now I verified the Bezel diagnostics I found that the VMCU (vehicle mounted control unit) SW version shows "---". The last time that I took a screenshot it was at "6.1.5.2."
May this be related to my missing/pending APIM update, or does this indicate a completely different issue with the OTA update?

I would still get the tech to complete the replacement.

Hi all,

My EU Job 1 car (WF0TK1EM3MMA31749) finally showed an OTA APIM update version 3.5.2.1 on the SYNC screen and in the app. Both claim it was succesfully installed. But I'm doubtful of that. Since no additional games, AC button or full screen AA are available.
For over a week it showed the update available message under 'System updates' on the screen with a grayed out 'update now' button.

Now it simply says it's up to date again when checking for updates.
Can anyone see if the update succeeded or failed to install?
Thanks again. ☺

Can someone check 3FMTK3SU4MMA36930? I'm wondering if it's worth getting a 2-day license to update.

Hi Mike and everyone,

like all people across Europe I'm finally getting 3.5.2.1 update (first of three parts update to enable Alexa and other few things).
After the last 2.6.0. update my MME started to give me cruise control sudden disconnections with front camera failure warnings (the one on the windshield not the one used for parking)... those lasted just tens of seconds and then disappeared.
Now the problem has become permanent and since I need to take the car to the assistance (before my 2 years warranty will expire at the end of july) I'd like to check my VIN to see how's the list and if there's something related.

VIN: WF0TK1EM6MMA32149

If anyone has any hint about my issue that'll be really appreciated.

Thank you very much.
