About to pick up a new to me CPO MME from the dealer, does someone mind checking if there's anything I need to bug them about to take care of beforehand?

The combo of the BCM and GFM (along with the tool routine to enable the function) would allow your frunk to be opened using either the door keypad, or the Sync screen button.

The tech would have to run the tool below to enable the Sync Frunk button to appear on the center screen:

Mike,
Do you show the GWM and APIM modules wait for me to update?
I brought my car in to the dealer because 4.2.6 seems to be stuck and said not updated. They fixed that and then updated the APIM and GWM

not sure what happens after that.

Mine is stuck there too. I wonder what they did in FDRS to clears the screen. I do have 4.2.6 installed and complete but my update screen says incomplete. Waiting for a new update to clear it.

Ummm, yeah...they didn't do that.

Didn't touch the BCM or GFM. But for some reason they did de-energize your HV battery system while it was there. I mention that in case you didn't know that.

Here's the list of available updates today:

I assume the de-energize was because of replacing the charge port.

I called my dealer and asked about updating the BCM and the GFM. They said it would be 5 hours of labor for a bit over $1000. That sounds outrageous to me. Is anybody in or around Arkansas with FDRS willing to help me out with updating these 2 modules?

Wow. They really, really don't want to work on your car, do they?

Either that or they want to to pay for some tech's training. I did this, plus a bunch of other modules, on my first FDRS session and it only took three hours.

Assuming you already have a Win10 laptop you could spend about $300 less than the $1K they're asking for, and have all the equipment to do these updates now and in the future.

You must have been talking to a service advisor. They can't see if you have any updates except the ones in the OTA queue. A tech using FDRS would see this:
3FMTK3SU1MMA08471-17-Jul-23.png

If you left your car sitting with auto updates disabled then what likely happened is that the system tried to push updates to your car but just quit after a while. Now those updates have "expired" and been removed from your queue. In future if you're going to leave the car on the EVSE while you're gone I would leave auto updates turned on. Let them update while you're not there. Obvioulsy it would cause far less of a headache than trying to get them all updated by a dealer tech now. You were gone long enough that you have a gateway and an APIM. Out of all the stuff on this list that GWM needs to be updated first.
Thanks to your inputs, I was finally able to get my dealer to update my car. They never would have done the work if it wasn't for the FRDS screen shots you provided. I had to escalate the issue to the dealer owner/GM to initiate the update. I picked up the car yesterday and have noticed the updated center display. I haven't had time to investigate other changes. The service manager said the Gateway Module and another module would not show completed. They suggested I take the car home and bring it back once the Ford hotline gets back to them. Once the GM understood the issue, he was very responsive.

I hate bothering you again, but I would love to have an undated FDRS screen for when I bring the car back this coming week.

Thanks again for all your help. I don't know what I would do without your help, and others like you, on these issues. This forum Rocks!!

I'm picking up a 2021 in about two weeks. Would anyone mind checking if there are any pending updates I should ask their service department to fix? VIN is 3FMTK3SU8MMA19970

Thank you!
