If you own a 2021 GT or GTPE, have you ever had SSN or SVS due to a HVBJB failure?

There have been a lot of forum members who have experienced the Stop Safely Now (SSN) or Service Vehicle Soon (SSN) errors while driving, caused by a detected failure of the HVBJB. SSN failures require you to have the car towed, while SVS is a warning that the HVBJB is about to fail, and you need to get the car to the dealer to have it replaced. With SVS, you can still drive but with reduced power.

There are many threads on this subject as more and more forum members have experienced the failure. But not everyone has, including me.

It is well known that the GT and GTPE models have a higher failure rate. So many have failed, that at one point I thought I might be the only one with a GT on the forum without a failure. But no, there are others.

The point of this thread is to record all of us who have not had a HVBJB failure, and if any of us get the failure, track when that occurs.

If you own a 2021 GT or GTPE that has never had SSN or SVS due to the HVBJB, please post here and I will add you to the list. If you do get the failure, please come back here and post again with the details so I can put the date of your failure in the table.

Just for fun, I am posting a picture of the HVBJB that @Mach-Lee used in his awesome thread here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...age-battery-junction-box-nk4z-10c666-c.20425/

Ford Mustang Mach-E 2021 GT/GTPE MMEs Without HVBJB Failure - Tracking List 1692964917489

I also decided to include a poll, just to see if we can determine the percentage of forum members with a 2021 GT or GTPE have had the failure. It seems very high based on what I have seen posted, but that is subjective. Maybe the poll will be more accurate.

Note: there are other problems that can cause SSN or SVS. This thread is about HVBJB problems only.

Pretty clear the ones without failures drive gently. Push it hard you will find out how fast it fails.
False.

Just look at my tires after 7k miles:

You are assuming everyone got the same part manufactured to the same specs.

Reality is more likely there are parts much more likely to fail than others.

People here have TRIED to break their HVJB and couldn’t do it.

I doubt we will ever know but I have wondered if Ford has looked into manufacture dates and failure rates of the HVBJB and or the contactors installed in the HVBJB. I kept track of the manufacture dates for vehicles with failures for awhile as they were posted but it seemed random.

It's already clear that people can't read. Some of the respondents saying that have a 2021 GT, don't.

I'm gonna start a new poll asking what the average forum member IQ is.

I will update the table probably tonight with everyone who has a 2021 GT or GTPE but no HVBJB failure.

If you have a 2022 in your profile, but answered the 2021 question, I will not include you in the list. Also, please change your vote if that is the case so we have a better picture of the true 2021 failure rate.

We know after the new part was introduced into production in 2022, the number of failures decreased. And 2021s have been around a lot longer. That is why I focused the list on 2021s only.

Since I am a Poodle, it’s higher than the average human’s. ??

Both of us that drive it have a lead foot, and 25k on the odometer.

I drive in a spirited way, but not hard. My wife less so than myself.
