You should ask them to explain why you haven't gotten any OTAs in at least the last 60 days, but you have available updates in your list that should have come to your car as an OTA already.

Just picked up my MME from the dealer and he said they did not have the magic usb stick and did not have time to do the manual update today. They have updated all the "dealer module-updates".
They told me to keep my car hooked up to the charger and connected to the wifi and wait.
Can you see any changes on the earlier list of updates for my car?

Thanks again <3

12 Sep '21, Job 2 car.

And if it's a Job 2 Select with comfort and tech it should have come with working BlueCruise from the plant. Could it be that you haven't added this car to your Ford account and enabled Connected Services yet? That would be a possible reason that BC isn't working yet. Based on the build date your BlueCruise 1.0 should expire three years after it was first activated (in-service date in your case).

You have a lot of updates in your list but the ones you want to pay attention to are the GWM (gateway) and the APIM (Sync) because in all of the things that are in that list the gateway and then the APIM are the first two that need to be updated before anything else is attempted for software dependency reasons.

If you car has been sitting on a dealers lot for a while I guarantee that your 12V battery needs the "Learned Values" reset on the battery management system. It's a quick procedure.

Forget putting your car on your home Wi-Fi for updates. It doesn't work. Set your check updates schedule to a daily time that's roughly 15-20 minutes into your commute (either to or from work) so that your 12V battery is back up above 80% SOC and your in a good cell coverage area. You'll have better luck getting updates that way.

Here's your list of available updates:

Again, very important...that GWM needs to be updated before anything else, and then the APIM.

Mike - could you check my VIN again whenever you have a minute?

I had my Mach E at the dealership last night and they at least pushed me so far in the process that I now have YouTube in the entertainment screen. (whatever SYNC update that is)

They said I should be able to receive future Over the Air updates now. (Fingers crossed)

Seems that the dealer is a bit mystified by today's technology. Or is resisting EV.

Both, maybe? These things happen.
Dealer told me they've updated everything they could from their end. An update on the Gateway-Module(?) should make the car "eligible" for OTA's. Told me to keep the car connected to Wifi and the charger (set to not charge above 90%).

Gonna give it a week unless Mike checks in the meantime that nothing rly has been done.

All very frustrating

Hi Mike. Please check FDRS and, if you still have the PTS license, the OTA Dashboard for me to see what's showing. Like so many others am still waiting on 5.1.1 and it seems that the car has been communicating with the mothership, but no joy. Maybe when you check it will count as a network scan and force the update! ;-)
Also, oddly, at least in my experience, the Updates function still shows RAD-PS completed from a month or so ago. In the past those notices have gone away after three or four days and were replaced with a You're Up To Date message.
Thanks as always.

FYI - my Updates function on the car's Synch still shows the 4.2.2 update write-up I received back in March 2023 sometime. I received and downloaded and installed several module updates since then via FDRS, including the latest GWM update... and still that same update writeup shows up months later, just like for you.

I can see the car is talking to the Ford cloud when I'm driving around, up on the top of the Synch screen... so it's not like my car is somehow blocked from Ford tech comms...

I can...your software list is unchanged, and below is proof that they did no programming:

If they told you they did updates that didn't involve the USB drive they lied. They did nothing at all.

Nothing in the OTA queue:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others 3FMTK3SU1MMA02587-19-Sep-23OTA

And here's the list from FDRS:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others 3FMTK3SU1MMA02587-19-Sep-23

And that gateway is the one you're looking for (-NAE).

Here's the session log from what they did. Hopefully it matches what they told you they did:

And here's the FDRS available software list (includes another gateway update):

Your OTA history hasn't changed and you have none pending right now.

Can someone lookup my car? I’ve got every light on right now and the car won’t go past 35mph. Thanks in advance!
