Not sure if you want help or are just ranting? As noted if you can not diagnose it yourself get it diagnosed and phone FORD CANADA see original post #1 this thread. Whine about parts taking so long and ask if they can speed them up. As noted above that is what they exist for. May help to chat and get to know your service manager. Just people doing their best like the rest of us. Your problem is not their fault and they are the guys you need help from right now. Ask anyone which engineering geek got hit the worse with EA on this car. 15 times in in 2.5 years and counting. Word of advice don't name it karma ?I heard back from the dealership and they said they'd expect the part to take at least 3 weeks to arrive, and that they'll need the error codes from the diagnosis service appointment to place the parts order.
I understand there is a risk with being an early adopter of new technology, but am surprised that Ford is being allowed to leave people in a lurch like this. I imagine if one of their new ICE vehicle models had significant drivetrain failures resulting in cars breaking down or losing power the recall to fix the issue would go to the root cause of the failures, not introducing an electronic limiter bandaid solution.
On the side
Just ran 190 miles at 70 mph today on 76% passing again with no problems yet. I have to say range has gotten better. Sent a departure schedule from FP this morning to the car (warming as it was 10C) and it worked
