I looked up my wi-fi router and it has three antennas in the left side, front, and right side. The back side was toward the car so I rotated the router 90 degrees. This increased the signal level and FDRS downloaded faster. Why? Because a SCCM update popped up today.

I downloaded the new version of FDRS. The update part went great, but I had problems running the self-test to clear the DTCs. FDRS complained that it did not have all the resources and to do a refresh. I finally got it to work and cleared the DTCs.

I got PowerUp 6.1.0 OTA and used FDRS to do PowerUp 6.2.0 (APIM). The forum says PowerUp 6.3.0 is a TCU update. I do see the SCCM as an update toward BC 1.3 as the car only has BC 1.0. Maybe the SCCM is skipped if the car has BC 1.2.

Still no GWM, APIM, etc. but I do have a SCCM update today. Any advice? Should I do it or wait until they sort out me being stuck from that bonked IPC update?

Personally, I would wait until we start getting GWM updates again. I'm not doing anything until I get further info from Ford.

The SCCM update is the same as PowerUp 6.4.0 and what is interesting is it showed up before the TCU update (6.3.0) for me. Hopefully the TCU update will appear for me soon.

I had 6.1.0 stuck in a not completed state since October 12th and decided to use FDRS to unstick it today.

Initially FDRS showed a GWM and SCCM update available.

I applied the GWM, then the APIM that appeared, then the TCU that appeared, and finally the SCCM that had been there all along. My list is now empty and hopefully the 6.5.0 and greater OTA apply without issue.

I wonder if by applying the SCCM before the TCU you are now experiencing a dependency issue?

The OTA in this series so far have been:

GWM - 6.1.0
APIM - 6.2.0
TCU - 6.3.0
SCCM - 6.4.0

Hopefully you get a TCU after the APIM having already applied the SCCM.
Yes, TCU appeared after doing APIM

That sequence is the normal sequence that the 'big three' get updated in: GWM, APIM, and then the TCU. So no surprise that the OTAs come out that way. In fact if you try to do them with FDRS out of that sequence you may find that the updates 'fail' for some reason...until you do them in the correct sequence.

Also APIM & SCCM Update here in Austria (EU) 2021 Job1, but no GWM... hopefully with the new UI... How long does the APIM USB update take?

About 30 minutes in my experience... depending on the quality and design of the USB thumb drive. It pays to have a latest standard high capacity USB drive.

Thank you! USB Stick should be fast enough.. 400 MB/s read und 240 MB/s write ;)
Keep your driver door open for the 10 minutes when the Synch tells you to shut the car down... and the wait another 5+ minutes for the last step while keeping the USB plugged in. Good Luck!
