Thanks. That’s what I thought. Since we only drive around town - longest “road trip” was an hour long, LOL - we don’t put many miles on the car. Only 2000 in the past 8 months. We try to charge when we have 60-65% charge and our preset is 90%. Maybe one charge a week. The 12v battery gets charged when you drive, and when the car is actively charging. So, if you drive 3 miles, come home, and charge from 89% to 90%, in fact the 12v battery really didn't get charged enough.
Some people, SOMETIMES, may get a System Off To Save Battery... message on their big screen. Unless you see that, don't concern yourself with the 12v battery. Even if you do see it, it just means it's time to drive it.
Or, updates may fail, because your 12v battery isn't charged up high enough. Not any issue, simply drive the car for 30 minutes (or just start it and run it for 30 minutes) and the update will usually apply just fine.
This ^^^ If you didn't read this forum, 99% of the "issues" would be unknown to you and of no concern.
Just trying to be proactive - hate to be searching for answers real time when NEEDED! Thanks.
