Mach-E vs. 2025 Lucid Gravity

Available late 2024. Front design looks similar to the upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 7. Gorgeous design, just wish it had more buttons in the interior.

Although this is clearly in a different class than the Mach-E, Ford better bring it for their 2nd gen Mach E. Competition is getting stiffer.

Like a minivan tourer! Or a sleeker Ford Flex. The drag coefficient is under 0.24 which helps with its 400+ mile range.

No doubt the Mach-E is getting long in the tooth for an EV, but I do enjoy the hard plastic for the frunk. Since I'm not fancy enough to afford a Lucid anytime soon, putting takeout/messy crap in the frunk really comes in handy - since I don't have any servants to transport that for me ?

I like that they added seats to the frunk. Simple and clever really. Headgating instead of tailgating?

Looks… they’re fine. Not my favorite. But capability? Mach-E could never. BlueCruise may be the one advantage, but we will see if Lucid comes out with something similar. This thing surpasses MME in multiple ways that’s it’s not even a fair comparison…

HOWEVER, Ford can’t be complacent… they see the tech being offered in upcoming vehicles. If the MME doesn’t have at least 400 miles of range, 350kW Charging, and NACS by 2025, then it will not be compelling or competitive anymore.

Great points! I feel like Ford is falling behind because of their recent reduction in EV R&D expenditures, but I hope they bring their A game for the 2nd generation Mach E.
