Happy New Year!Hi. I just purchased a 21 First Edition about a month ago and think the OTA version is stuck. The car shows fully up to date but the sync version is 22228 product rev 539. I had it in to the dealer and they told me “it has no missed OTA updates” but I have trouble believing that. Id really appreciate it if someone could check what kind of module updates my car may be missing.

Yeah..you are in fact a bit behind. Your version of Sync (539) was the version that enabled the use of two cell phones at the same time in the car. That was back in September...of 2022!
So in your list of available software updates there's another clue that there's a problem. 99.9% of the time you will never see a gateway (GWM) update and an APIM (Sync) update at the same time (or a GWM, APIM or TCU either, in any combination for that matter), because of software dependencies. Meaning the server should only 'reveal' one of those when the other one has been updated and is no longer in the list. But in your case you are showing a gateway and an APIM update at the same time which is always a red flag that there's a problem with getting updates. Having a tech update those (and continue until you're current) should get you back on track.
In your case the gateway (GWM) needs to be done first before the APIM gets updated. That's based on Ford's own rules (attached).
You are behind enough that no new OTAs will show up for you until this situation gets sorted and you are completely up to date with your GWM, APIM, and TCU revisions. And that also means no BC update will happen until your car is brought current on those three modules (because of OTAs and software dependencies). The most current version of Sync can always be checked here.
Here's the list of available updates for your car with my annotations showing the GWM and APIM:
So when the service writer checks the OTA dashboard and sees nothing in the queue (and going back 60 days there's no history at all)....that's NOT a good thing. But what they're inclined to tell the customer is; "Nope, you're good, Ford just hasn't sent your car any updates." Because they only see part of the picture...service writers only have PTS that shows the OTA dashboard, they don't have FDRS so they can't see what the current rev levels are of the modules.
When you square off with your service desk make sure they are aware of the recently added language underneath the list of available software in FDRS that says:
Meaning, keep updating the GWM, APIM, and TCU until current or no longer appearing in the list of available software.
And that should help get your OTAs to start flowing again. (Again, you'll need that to happen to get the new BC that's coming out).
Best of luck going forward.
